THE EDITING room was dimly lit, your laptop's screen casting a soft glow across the desk. You had been sitting there for hours, meticulously piecing together Elton's latest adventure video. Every cut, transition, and overlay needed to be perfect—it was part of the reason Elton trusted you with his content.

But perfection came at a cost, and your back was sore, your eyes strained, and your coffee mug was long since empty. You were so engrossed in your work that you didn't even notice Corbin standing in the doorway until he cleared his throat.

"Y/N," he said, leaning casually against the frame. "How long have you been at this?"

You glanced at the clock in the corner of your screen and winced. "Uh... a while?"

Corbin stepped into the room, crossing his arms as he gave you a pointed look. "A while? You've been here all day. When's the last time you ate something? Or, you know, stood up?"

You sighed, sitting back in your chair. "I just want to get this done. Elton needs it by tomorrow, and there's still so much to do."

He walked over, placing a hand on the back of your chair. "I get it, but you're not going to do your best work if you burn yourself out. Come on, take a break. I'll help you finish after."

You opened your mouth to argue, but the stern look on his face stopped you. "Corbin—"

"Nope, no excuses," he interrupted. "You're coming with me. I already made sandwiches, and there's a whole world outside this room you're missing out on."

You couldn't help but laugh at his dramatic tone. "A whole world, huh?"

"Yep. Fresh air, sunlight—well, moonlight now—and something called relaxation. Heard of it?" he teased, pulling you gently out of the chair.

You relented, letting him guide you out of the room. True to his word, there were sandwiches waiting on the counter, along with a fresh cup of coffee and a plate of cookies.

"Okay, I'll admit," you said, taking a bite of the sandwich, "this was a good idea."

Corbin smirked, leaning against the counter. "Told you. And once you're done eating, we'll tackle the rest of the video together. Two sets of eyes are better than one, right?"

You nodded, feeling a wave of gratitude. "Thanks, Corbin. I didn't realize how much I needed this."

"Anytime," he said, flashing you a grin. "But seriously, don't make me come drag you out of there again. You're too important to Elton—and to the rest of us—to run yourself into the ground."

His words stayed with you as the two of you returned to the editing room later, working side by side to finish the video. With Corbin's support and fresh energy, the process felt lighter, and you realized how lucky you were to have someone looking out for you.
