Don't say that

A week had gone by since the situation with Ashley. I can't understand why she tried that at all.
Shatter something that's already broken won't make it fixable in the end. She shattered me even after saying she wouldn't and even after I showed her my cracks.

It was the third week since school had started and I was doing horrible in my classes. If I don't graduate this year I don't know what I'll do.
This week is B week. You get two A weeks and two B weeks. I was walking to my math class when I bumped into someone. "My fault." I say as I stopped them from falling. I pulled up the girl and noticed it to be Sara. I have a habit of walking into this girl. I was actually happy to see her face, my face probably didn't say it but I was.

When Karla told me what she said to have a good night and sleep well I actually slept slightly better that night. I was still a bit restless though but I slept better.

"Hi." I say. "Hi how are you?"
She responded. "I'm fine how about you?"
"I'm good."

"Where you headed?" I asked trying to keep the conversation rolling. "Ms. Chance's math class. You?"

"Same." I reply. She nodded and we fell into step as we headed to math class. We got in and took seats, she sat in one next to me in the back. I took out my head phones and laid my head down. I hear the teacher come in then my music started. I finally started to fall asleep, I never really get much sleep unless I'm in class with my head on a desk. I think I was sleep for about twenty minutes before I feel someone tap me. I moved but I didn't wake up, I was half sleep half woke.

They shook me again and I lifted my head up and locked eyes with Sara. Then I laid my head back down. I feel her pull my earphone out my ear so I groaned and turn my head to face her but kept it laying on my hand. "What?" I mumbled.
"Class is over." She says smiling. I lifted my head and seen that it was empty in here except for me, her and the teacher. I blinked the sleep out my eyes though I was definitely about to fall out if I didn't close my eyes soon.

"Didn't class just start?" I asked and she smiled.
"Class started forty five minutes ago. You've been sleep the whole time." She says. I yawned before standing up and then stumbling back into my desk. She grabbed my arm and my body went stiff. Images flashed through my head so I pulled back away from her but made it look like I was straightening myself up.

"Are you ok?" She asked. "I'm fucking tired." I said making her laugh. "I can tell. I got you a paper." She says handing it to me while I grabbed my bag.
I looked down at it then at her. "You can keep that I don't do this stuff." I say and she frowns in confusion . It was the cutest thing. "Why not?" I shrugged in response.

"School ain't my strong suit." I reply and she looked like she was thinking as we made our way out the door. "Do you need help? I can help you." She says and I just almost slightly wanted to smile. I didn't, but I could've. "You good, I'm not to interested in any of this." She looked confused. "You're not interested in school?" I nod and she pouts a bit.

"I can be a tutor, I'm good in all subjects really." She suggested so I took the time to look at her.
"Why?" I asked. "Why what?"
"Why do you want to help?" She smiled and thought about it for a second. "Because... I want to I guess, if you need it I got it." I shook my head to stop the smirk that wanted to appear.

I haven't had the urge to laugh or smile in a while, it's honestly one of  the weirdest things I've ever felt. "So? Can I tutor you?" She asked after a moment.
"I guess... but don't be mad when I don't know shit. I don't know anything." I say and she shakes her head no. "Don't say that, you won't know until you actually do it," Her brother walked up to us.

"D-did it co-come in yet?" He asked me. "Naw, I promise I got you when it does." He nods and looks back at the gym door. "Do... you guys h-have gym?"
I nod not even knowing if Sara did but she did so we all walked there small talking about whatever honestly. Once inside coach made everyone sit in front of her while she told us what we would be doing today.
