TLWCC XXIII- Valetine's Day 1.0

Valentine's day is the most awaited event of most lovers around the world. It is the day where you can see heart-shaped things, chocolates, baloons and flowers.

Sa araw na ito, nangyayari rin ang pasiklaban ng mga lalaki sa kanilang mga babaeng minamahal. Iba't ibat pakulo ang nagaganap. It's like life, full of surprises.

"Anong suot mo?" tanong sa akin nu Cath sa kabilang linya ng telepono.

Nasa bahay na pa kasi ako at dahil sa araw na ito, pwede kang ma-late. Anytime, you can enter the school campus. Kahit nga ang nga outsider at taga-ibang school ay welcome rin sa school namin dahil Valentine's day.

"Uniform," sagot ko sa kaniya.

Narinig ko ang pag-buntong hininga niya at kung nakikita ko man ang mukha niya ngayon, I can see her getting stressed of what I answer to her question. It was true then, I'm really wearing a uniform. Hindi nga lang' yung uniform na sinusuot namin araw-araw sa school.

"Mauricé, napaka-kj mo talaga! Sabi ng color-coding ang susuotin natin ngayon, 'di ba?" tanong niya sa akin. I can imagine her facial expression right now.

Gusto ko lang naman siyang inisin sa sinagot ko. I'm wearing a red color tees and a high waisted pants, partnered with a white sketchers.

"Yes, I know! I'm wearing our Valetine' s uniform that supposed to be a red color shirt because we're in a relationship." I narrated to her.

Hindi naman sa nagpapaka-bitter ako porque hindi kami magkaayos ni Jack. But is this really necessary? Pakulo kasi ito ng Supreme Student Government Officers, may pa-color coding na dapat akma sa current status mo.

Red - in a relationship status/ Inlove
Pink - self love/ waiting for the right time and person
Black- Broken/ Bitter
Green- Complicated
Yellow- Single/ Contented
Blue- Study first
Violet- NBSB/NGSB
Orange- still inlove with her/his ex
School uniform- Kill Joy People

Definitely, it's awkward to wear uniform today. Napaka-harsh nila kung iisipin dahil lang sa naka uniform. But we have to follow the rules. And of course, I don't want to call myself a kill joy person! Malamang ay pagti-trip-an lang ako ng mga kaklase namin.

"Very good, Ms. Trinidad. Now, I don't have anythung to be stress with. See you in a bit, girl!" excited na sabi nito kaya in-end call na namin ang tawag.

Io-off ko na sana ang phone ko ng may matanggap akong message galing sa dalawang tao. Sabay pa talaga sila ng oras ng pag-send, huh? Is this full coincidence?

Hindi ko inaasahang igi-greet ako ni Kael sa araw na ito. I know it should be expected from someone we know but I never thought that he will greet me. Sa ilang taon naming magka-kaklase, ngayon lang siya sa akin bumati.

Apart of me wanted to see and date him this day pero sa tuwing iniisip ko ang kasalanan niya ay nawawalan ako ng gana. Ito rin kasi ang unang valentine's day na may boyfriend ako after 17 years of my existence. Tapos ngayon naman na may boyfriend ako, saka naman kami nagkalabuan.

Parang bumalik lang kami sa dati na sa text o messenger lang nagkakausap tapos sa personal ay nag-iiwasan. That was me when I'm afraid of the word commitment.

I replied to their text messages. It was just a plain message to them, I and Jack are not totally okay but we are talking through text messages. Nako-konsensya na kasi ako kapag t-in-ext niya ako tapos hindi ako magre-reply.
