Henry was now a week and a half old and everything was going great. I mean sure Cerise was losing a little sleep because of him it was definitely worth it.
Right now Henry was with Daring in his home office while Cerise took a break. She was taking a little nap when Daring called her and he sounded frantic.
"Hey what's up"asked Cerise walking in
"Uh, somethings wrong with Henry"said Daring
"Whats wrong"asked Cerise getting increasingly neverous
Daring just held Henry up to Cerise and she saw it. He had wolf ears.
"How did this happen"asked Cerise holding him
"I dont know, he started crying and next I see, he has wolf ears"said Daring
"Well, at least your dad will be excited"said Cerise
Darings dad was obsessed with the fact that Henry could possibly have wolf ears and wolf instincts.
"I guess but for now, lets not tell the kingdom. I'm not ready for them to ask questions"said Daring
"Yeah but they should be easy to answer with a simple glance at me"said Cerise quietly
"What are you saying"asked Daring
"I'm saying, I've been judged my whole life based on my appearance and I don't want that for Henry"said Cerise beginning to tear up
"Cerise, I'm not about to let anyone talk down on you or our son"said Daring standing up
"I know, I'm just nervous"said Cerise
Right then there was a knock on the door and in walked Darings parents.
"Theres our favorite grandchild"said his mom
"I can't help but notice he has developed wolf ears"said his dad stroking Henry's tiny ears
"Yeah, it actually just happened"said Cerise
"This is wonderful, the kingdom has been wondering if this would happen"said his dad
"Really, I wasn't aware of this"said Daring
"Don't you read the news, Cerise is one of the most famous people in Ever After so of course they would adore it if her child had ears like her"said his mom
"Well, then we should tell them"said Cerise
"Are you sure, we want to do whats best for Henry"said Daring
"I'm positive, now that I know people will accept it, I feel better about it"said Cerise
"Then its settled, the kingdom will be informed next week"said Daring
