After her quick stop with her cousins, Cerise made her way to the castle.
She opened the big doors and walked inside. She didn't see Tilly but she found Daring sitting in the library crying.
"Daring"said Cerise
Upon hearing his name Daring looked up at her.
"You shouldn't have come here"said Daring
"And you shouldn't have either"said Cerise calmly
"Yes. I needed too. I failed"said Daring
"No you haven't"said Cerise
"Yes I have. Because of me you almost got killed"said Daring slightly raising his voice
"Daring, you did not fail, you did your best"said Cerise
"Thats not the point. I'm not who I thought I was. I'm not who you thought I was"said Daring
"All that matters is what you think about yourself"said Cerise
"But I want to know how you think about me"said Daring
Cerise walked closer to Daring and held his hands and gently spoke.
"I think your the greatest guy, who is kind, sweet, strong, handsome, and my everything"
"You really think that"said Daring
"Yes of course, I wouldn't lie to you"said Cerise
Daring looked into Cerises eyes, cupped her cheek in his hand and kissed her. Cerise melted into their kiss messing up his hair.
Neither of the wanted to stop, so they didn't. Reluctantly Cerise broke off to catch her breath.
"That w-was a-amazing"
"Yeah it was"said Daring
"Oh hi you two"said Tilly walking in
"Hi Tilly"said Cerise with a cheerful smile
"I have dinner ready if your hungry"said Tilly
Daring looked at Cerise with Cerise doing the same and in unison
"Race ya"
