FIRED!

When I came to school the next day, I was called to the Principal's office.

''Is there a problem sir?'' I asked him

''Yes, I'm afraid there is. We have found evidence that you have been flirting with students'' he said with a frown

'' What?! That's nonsense'' I fumed

''What do you have to say about these photos?'' he asked giving me the photos

There was me talking with girl students. It was totally photoshopped in a way to make it look like I was harassing them.

Whoever did it was good. It barely looked like it had been photoshoped

'' It's photoshop'' I said

''I KNOW THAT! But We can't prove it.'' He said sighing. Ed had been my good friend. I met him toward the start of my expenditure. He only offered me a job here. We were good friends, I knew he was in a difficult position here.

He too knows about my situation, he knows who I am and my father's conditions.

''I am sorry. I tried to find evidence it was fake but...'' he said solemnly

''I know, Ed it's ok'' aia said and smiled a little

''No it's not! If you are fired you won't be able to-'' he started frantically

''Ed, it's ok. 2 years were enough. I had to go back one day anyway. It's sooner than I expected but I'm STILL GRATEFUL'' My thoughts didn't match my words. I was heartbroken, I loved teaching , I loved my students.

''If it weren't for those brats'' he said with gritted teeth

He's talking about Xavier, Hayden, Kaiden and Nicholas.

I feel betrayed. I just saved Hayden yesterday, I helped Nichols with his spells after school and still..

There is no point in wallowing over the past.

'sigh' ''You're gonna have to say it Ed. It's ok Ed. Say it''

He took a deep sigh and with a face almost as heartbroken as me said the 3 words I had been dreading ''Mr.Zane you are fired''

I was taking my things from class when a bunch of my students came in

''Sir are you really fired?'' ''Don't go'' ''Are you really leaving us?'' They barged in asking me such questions.

Wow, gossip does spread faster than fire.

''Calm down guys. Hush. Yes, It's true I won't be teaching here anymore''

''Why?'' a bunch of them asked

IDK KNOW WHY!

They started talking at once again

''Guys, guys! Things happened. The main thing is I won't be teaching here anymore. yOU ALL have been a wonderful class. Thank you and I love you all. Focus on your studies and make this teacher of yours proud''

As I was walking to my car Veronica called out

''Sir!''

''Yes ms. Kent''

''You're leaving'' she said sadly eyeing the box full of my stuff.

''Yeah'' I said awkwardly

''I made up with Collete. You were right, I apologized and she forgave me. Now we're even friends'' she said

''I'm glad to hear that Veronica. Even more glad to here that I was right'' I joked trying to lighten the mood but she was still sad

''I just wanna say thank you. You wer- no are the best teacher ever'' She said

''Thank you. That means the world to me''

After that I got into my car and drove home.

The whole day I was recieving calls from friends at school, from my family.

I was relaxing when my phone rang again at night.

'sigh' here we go again

''Hello?''

''It's me'' I was shocked to here my dad's voice. He never called

'' hey dad, yeah I'll start from tomorrow I have to pack and stuff. I'll start my duties tomorrow-''

''I'm sorry you lost the job'' he said

I was taken a back

''oh, you know pffft, thing happen'' I said still recovering from my shock

''No need to hurry. Take your time coming here'' he said and cut the call

What was that? Maybe he was not the hard person we all viewed him as

haaa, so much had happened in just a day.
