"You..." I mumbled.
"Hm? What was that?" he teased. I know damn well that bastard heard me the first time...
"You, dingus."
"I thought so. Come here," he said motioning to the couch which he had been sitting on. I stated at him for a while before finally obeying and approaching him. Before I could sit, Illumi had pulled me down to where I would be in a straddle position over his lap. I squeaked and looked up, his sharp gaze staring into my soul.
He's so hot....wait-
"Did you really think running for 4 years would let you escape me?" He questioned, never breaking eye contact. I turned my attention away from him, focusing on literally anything else.
That's a nice carpet...
Illumi wasn't having it, as one hand gripped my waist and the other turning my face back to him by my chin.
FUCK...
"No matter how far or long you run, you will still eventually be brought back to me," He claimed. The look in his eyes made me believe it. I truly would never be able to escape this man no matter how hard I tried, yet a small part of me still wanted to try and prove him wrong.
Why am I even running in the first place?? Kikyo was the only roadblock, so what else is stopping me from staying with the man I love...?
Suddenly, the wind was knocked out of me as I was pulled out of my thoughts. Illumi now had me pinned against the couch, towering over me while his hair created a curtain around us.
"So, h-"
"Ahem..."
Before Illumi could finish his scentence, the sound of someone clearing their throat rang through the room. We both turned our heads to see Kikyo, one of her hands covering D/n's eyes while the girl gave feeble protests.
"It seems you have had enough talk time, correct?"
"Yes, mother..." Illumi replied, now sitting up properly.
"Well I am here to drop her off, I must tend to Kalluto," Kikyo said, removing her hand from over the girl's eyes. "Goodbye little one!"
And with that, she was off.
I signed, motioning for D/n to come here. She'd find out who her father is sooner or later so might as well. The girl ran towards us and hopped on the couch, sitting between us.
"Well D/n, there's something you must know..." I started.
