Chrollo POV
It wasn't necessary for Y/n to come travel with me.
I had already sent Hisoka into Greed Island in search of an exorcist. In reality, I called Y/n here as an excuse to spend time with her.
"Chrollo we've been walking for TWO DAYS!! Two days and we're still in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE," said woman complained.
"Well I did say we would travel east until we found something."
"I am going to- WHAT THE FUCK!"
I looked to my side to see Y/n gone.
First I lose the kid and now the mother...
I looked down to see a hole where she once stood.
"Uh...Y/n?"
No response.
I only sighed, before shrugging and jumping into the hole.

Y/n POV
After screaming and falling for a few minutes, I landed with a loud thud. And of course I just had to land on my face. I slowly lifted my head up and looked around, finding myself in some sort of dimly lit cave.
Before I could get up completely, Chrollo landed oh so gracefully right on top of my back, causing me to fall face first into the ground. Again.
"I'm going to fucking kill you," I said, my nose still in the dirt.
"Oops."
He stepped off of me, lending me a hand. I let him help me up as my eyes adjusted to the dark, now being able to see my surroundings more clearly. From what it seems, we were on top of one of many platforms that were floating in a black abyss. The rocky sides of some of them were leaking some sort of black liquid.
"What in the Alice in wonderland..." I muttered.
I then felt something cold wrap around my ankle.
"WHAT THE FUCK," I squealed, shaking whatever was touching me off my ankle and jumping onto Chrollo.
His eyes widened before he caught me, looking at whatever it was that made me freak out.
A small shadow like figure with white glowing dots for eyes stood up from where I flung it. It blinked a few times before walking over and stopping in front of us.
Chrollo sweat dropped and I gave a nervous chuckle before slowly letting myself back on the ground. The thing blinked up at me and pointed foreward with it's little nub hand and turned to start walking.
"I think we should follow it," Chrollo says, watching as it decends deeper in the cave.
"Are you kidding me? What if that little shit is trying to kill us..." I said, hugging myself.
"If it wanted to kill us I'm sure it would have done so already," He remarked, giving me an unamused look. "Come on you big baby, we need to find a way out anyways."
3rd Person POV
As Y/n and Chrollo explored the unknown, little D/n was going through treacherous training back at the Zoldyck manor.
She had done a wide range of things, such as drinking poison, getting introduced to electricity, hell even playing with literal fire.
The poor girl was burned and bruised all over, hair matted and her body weak.
"Get up," Illumi spoke, looking down at his daughter.
D/n's legs wobbled as she struggled to stand. All the training and torture she's been through has taken a toll on her young body.
"This is all to make you stronger, D/n," the tall man stated. "Your mother won't be there to baby you forever. I'm doing this all for you."
That's right... The young girl thought. He's doing this to make me stronger... so I can be strong for not only myself, but for mommy as well.
Illumi's ultimate goal had been to make D/n favor him and shape her into a top assasin. Unbeknownst to him, his words had did the exact opposite. What he had just spoken lead the young girl to brcomed determined, but she was determined to get stronger for her mother. The woman who was her top role model for her whole life.
No matter how hard he tried, Illumi would never be able to break the bond between mother and daughter.
