I'm here in the cafeteria patiently waiting for Minari. She said she wanted to have lunch with me today and she has something to say to me which I'm glad because I've been dying to talk to her after and ask her about the scene I saw on the library three days ago

"Chaeyoung!"

I smiled when someone hugged me from behind. Based on her body's scent, I'm pretty sure that It's none other than Minari

"Hey Minari-"

"Hi,chaeyoung"

My genuine smile vanished as soon as my eyes landed on the campus' crush,Yoo Jeongyeon. I faked a smile and turned to Minari sending signals why is she with this Jeongyeon again

"Oh,chaeyoung. Sorry I can't have a lunch with you today. Jeongyeon and I have to go somewhere today"

What?

"But Minari-"

"Oh and don't wait for me later after class either, Jeongyeon will take me home later"

"Wait Minari-"

"We gotta go,Chaeng.See you tomorrow"

I can't do anything but fo follow Mina and Jeongyeon until they vanished in the crowd before I could even say anything again. I don't really know what's going on

She's been hanging with that Jeongyeon lately. I don't even have the chance to talk to her these days. She's always with Jeongyeon and I'm dying to know what's going on between her and Jeongyeon.

It's almost her birthday but it seems things weren't going smooth according to my plans lately. I'm about to leave the cafeteria when someone sat beside me with a tray full of foods

"Hey,you looked upset.Is something wrong?"

I sighed and bitterly smiled at Somi

"No..I'm fine"

"Yeah,you do really look fine"

She said with obvious sarcasm in her voice before rolling her eyes

"Eat with me and tell me everything afterwards okay? I'll listen"

"Okay"

We went to the rooftop after we shared a lunch together and now here I am with Somi, watching the clear skies above while leaning on the wall with some ice creams in our hands

She just listened to me and let me tell her what's going on lately between me and Mina but what she told me surprised me the most

"Chaeng, I know I'm not in the perfect place to break this to you but I think you should know that Jeongyeon is also courting Mina"

My mouth went agape as soon as I heard those words slipped from Somi's mouth. I don't know what to do, to react or even what to say

"Chaeng, I thought you knew that already but after hearing your story,I guess you're still clueless. Actually Jeongyeon was courting Mina before you even got hospitalized, I think.So I wonder why you're still clueless about it"

"Wait,but she didn't told me about it"

"Why would she tell you when she heard you say that she's just your bestfriend?"

Wait,How did she knew about that? Did Mina told her about what's happening between us?
