Hidden Pleasures : Pain and tears

I rushed to the ICU as soon as I can after hearing the news

My tears began falling from my eyes at every hasty steps that I made

"God please,don't take her away from us please.."

I'm quickly making my way to the ICU without even minding if I keep on bumping on to someone. My mind was too pre occupied to even bother say sorry to them

I know it's kinda rude but I don't already care

All I want is too get to see Chaeyoung's condition as soon as I can

"God please,save her.."

I'm silently praying hoping God would hear my prayers

I saw the doctor already leaving with his nurse before I even get the chance to asked him what happened. I saw chaeng's mom and dad crying so hard

Mu mom amd dad was silently crying too just like my friends Jeongyeon and Nayeon especially Somi

Somi was crying so hard so I wonder what's happening

"M-mom?"

"Mina,my child-"

"What happened mom? H-how's chaeyoung?"

Mom heaved a deep sigh before taking a deep breath

"The doctor said She's not responding to the treatments slowly,Mina. He said, we may loose her anytime"

My mouth went agape after I heard what mom just told me

"N-no mom.. N-no! T-that's not true! She's a fighter, she'll recover mom,she'll come back to us.. she will come back to me.."

I can't take the enotions anymore. My knees were trembling and I felt so weak. It's as if all my strength was taken away

I collpased to the floor and cried hard

Mom and dad quickly helped me out to sit on the hospital bench and comforted me

I kept crying until chaeng's mom approached us and hugged me

"Mina,sweetie.."

"M-mommy..chaeyoung can make it right? She can make ot and survive right?"

She smiled bitterly and higged me again before wiping my tears away

"Talk to her now,sweetie before it's too late.."

"M-mommy-"

"She's been waiting for you, Mina.."

I'm still hesitating to visit her. I'm still too scared to see her right now. My mind was so full of ramdom thoughts until mommy kissed me on temple

I wiped my tears away before gathering all my remaining strength and went inside the room

After wearing isolation gown, gloves, shoe covers and mask, I sanitized myself as well before getting inside her room

A strong medicine's smell welcomed my nostrils as soon as I entered inside the ICU but what caught my attention was the woman laying on the bed,almost lifeless

I gasped in horror seeing the woman I love in her most horrible state

Oh,God

I covered my mouth to stopped myself from crying so hard

Seeing her in this state almost made me collapsed in the floor again. It's as if I just lost all my strength just by seeing chaeyoung in this state

This is so heartbreaking..

She's surrounded by medical machines that I don't even know what for. She also got some tubes on her nostrils and mouth that were connected to another machine

A cast on her arm and leg. A bandage on her head with some fresh cuts on her and face

The lonely and scary beeping sound of the machines were surrounding the room and it's making me more nervous and paranoid

"C-chaeng.."

I held her hand and let it touch my cheeks hoping to make her feel my presence

"..I'm now here my love..I'm now here.."

I began crying again but this time. I let my emotions take me

"C-chaeng, you can hear me right? You can still hear me right,my love?"

I kissed her hand while caressing her cheeks. God, i miss her

I miss her so much

"I'm so sorry chaeng. I didn't even do anything to protect you and now,I can't still do anything for you but please wake up. We are all waiting for you chaeng..I'm waiting for you,my love.."

I keep on kissing the back of her hand as I cry

God,please.. Let her live..

"Chaeng..please,wake up now my love.. I miss you so much. Stop scaring me,please. This isn't funny anymore so please, keep fighting and come back to me.."

My heart broke even more when I saw tears flowing down on her cheeks as well

She hears me.. I know she hears me!

"Oh,please chaeng.. stop scaring all of us anymore. Please, hold on my love. We are all waiting for you chaeyoung.. I am waiting for you. We're about to start our forever right so better fight for you life and come back to me. Come back to me,my love .. "

Her tears keep flowing down her face just like mine

God,this really breaks my heart. I've never felt such pain like this before

Please,Let her live.. Let her recover and lead her way back to us

"I miss you so bad,chaeng.. Please, don't leave me alone chaeng. We were just about to start our story amd you know that so please, don't leave me.. I love you so much chaeng and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you so please, stay .."

I leaned in on her and kissed her temple before kissing the side of her lips gently

"I love you much,chaeyoung.."

I didn't stay long inside because It's really breaking my heart to see her in that state

After dressing up,I ran to my mom and cried in her arms

"I don't wanna lose chaeyoung,mom. I can't.. I really can't mom.."

Mom just hugged me and comforted me in silence while I keep on crying

Please God,hear me out..

Save her and bring her back to us..
