"Hi"

A smiling little kid with a tiger cap and little sling bag approached me. I'm a bit surprise to see someone I don't know smiling at me sweetly

"I said Hi.. hey,can you talk? Can you hear me?"

I just stared at this little stranger in front of me who was still wearing her dimple deep smiles

"Oh,wait.. here,do you want some?"

She fished something inside her bag until she showed me some chocolate candies shaped and printed in different animals on it's candy wrapper

The penguin shaped chocolate candy caught my attention because I love penguins. I want that one but I'm too shy

"Oh,you want this? Here.."

She handed me the penguin shaped chocolate candy that I have been looking at

"Oh,wait let me open that for you"

She took the candy from me and opened it before giving it back to me again

"Go on,eat it. It's good I promise"

She even made a pinky promise gesture. It made me smile and before I even knew it, I'm already smiling while eating the sweet treat I got from this tiny stranger

"It's good,right?"

"Yeah"

"Hey, You can talk?"

"O-of course I can-"

"Great! So what's your name? I'm chaeyoung by the way"

"M-Mina-"

"Oh,Hi there Mina! Can I be your friend?"

I woke up smiling remembering what I dreamed about. It's the day when I first met her, the woman I love the most

It's been years ago but the memory was still fresh as new. I can still perfectly remember all the things that happened that day

Now, I'm staring at chaeyoung while tracing her nose. She's peacefully sleeping beside me while hugging her beloved strawberry plushie

I kissed her forehead before closing my eyes and tried to sleep again while hugging her

I'm about to close my eyes again when suddenly, I felt a kiss on my cheeks and there I saw Chaeyoung. She began showering my face with little kisses

"Baby,what are you doing?"

"I'm waking you up,mom"

I smiled and before hugging chaeyoung, my daughter

I found out that I'm already five weeks pregnant a week ago after Chaeyoung's death. Things were on rocks back then after her death but this little chaeyoung inside my tummy changed everything

I still can remember the dream I had with chaeyoung few hours before I decided to let her go years ago

"Don't worry,Minari. Someone will be there for you soon. Someone who'll make you happy and will make you smile again genuinely. Someone who'll make you feel special and someone who'll love you the way that I do or maybe even more.."

She's right. She is definitely right. Someone will be here for me to make me smile again. Someone will be here for me again,for us

And that someone isn't just a random someone. It's Shari her daughter, Our daughter
