Third person POV:

She walked over to his house and knocked.

It took Johnny a while to open the door for her, until he finally got up to open.

"aren't you supposed to be in school?"
johnny asked her

"yes. but they sent me home early," she smiled

"why? you look fine to me." he told her

"i beat someone older than me," she smiled, "and it was a boy!" she said hoping he would be as excited as her

"wow amie that's amazing!" he told her pulling her into a hug, " with what i have taught you?" he asked her and she nodded.

"and instead of getting in trouble i got him in trouble." she smiled

"that's awesome kiddo. i'm proud. we should go eat somewhere, where do you wanna go eat?" he asked

"uhh i don't know," amie told him.

"does pizza sound good?" he asked her and she nodded

At the restaurant they talked a lot.

"i'm sorry for calling you an asshole the other night," she told her dad

"don't be. i know i have been, i deserved it." he told her trying not to seem like a softie. but deep down johnny was happy he could finally talk to his daughter again.

She smiled at him and then ate some of her pizza.
Johnny had ordered a victory dessert as well, celebrating Amelia.

"happy belated birthdays too," johnny joked

"thank u thank u," she bowed laughing with him.

The two finished eating and went to the dojo before practices started.

"i asked two of my friends to join," she smiled at him

"are they nerds?" he asked

"uh-"

"going to take that as a yes," he sighed

"dad u were lame too," she giggled

"i was never lame. who told you that?" he rolled his eyes

"mom." amelia said with a sad tone.

"what's wrong?" he asked her

"well it's just robby and i right now. i teally haven't seen mom since last summer. she's in and out the house" she told her, "but anyways."

johnny nodded knowing she didn't want to talk much about it.

"i figured it out. i want to talk to johnny again." Amelia texted robby.

After a while of waiting Miguel came with the boys.

"amelia!" miguel yelled and hugged her

"hey miguel," she smiled hugging him back.

The two other boys just stood there and waited for miguel to move so they could say hi to amelia.

She got up and hugged eli and then demetri, "glad you guys finally came." she smiled at them.

The dojo started getting some students so Miguel and Amelia went up to the front with their new friend Aisha.

"Quiet! Face front." johnny told everyone making them shut up

"Nice shirt," johnny told demetri

"thanks," demetri smiled

"i'm joking. It sucks." johnny told him, "Word of advice: If you got shit for teeth, don't smile. My God, makes me feel like a virgin just looking at you. When I look around this dojo, I don't see Cobra Kai material. I see losers. I see nerds. I see a fat kid with a funny hat with his tits popping out. But my short time as a sensei, l've also seen some miracles. So maybe there's some hope for you yet. First I need to see where you're at. So everybody, fall in!" johnny said

no one expect the three understood.

"That means line up," amelia told them annoyed

"No, not... not line up in a line. Lines. Get in lines." a frustrated johnny said

"You mean, like, rows?" someone asked

miguel looked at them and nodded.

The practice was long and annoying for the three pros.

"bye amelia," aisha smiled and waved as she walked away from the locker room.

"bye!" Amelia waved back still getting ready.

The girls walked out five minutes later where she saw eli and miguel. Demetri had gone home to eat his lunch because he was starving.

"i'm hungry," miguel tells them

"yeah same," eli told them too

"where shall we eat?" amelia asked though she had just ate.

"mc diddys?" miguel told them, which was a name for mcdonald's they had joked around with.

"sure," eli said and held Amelia's hand as they walked to mc donald's.

"WOAH U TWO R DATIBG?" miguel asked them

"what?" amelia asked him looking at eli wondering if they should tell him

"y-yeah we are," he smiled looking at you

"oh wow-" miguel said smiling

"just don't tell demetri yet-" amelia told him, eli and her had agreeed to keep it from him for a while. as he would probably say a dumb opinion.

They got to mcdonald's where miguel and eli ordered food while amelia ordered an oreo mcflurry.

"you're not going to eat?" eli asked her making her shake her head.

"as crazy as it sounds. i went to eat with johnny. and we had a great time," she told them

"you mean you don't hate him anymore?" miguel asked her

"nope. we actually are a lot alike. and we even celebrated all my birthdays he wasn't there for," she giggled

"wait sensei is your dad?" eli asked and she nodded.

The friends finished eating and walked back to miguel's house to watch spider-man.

"i want to meet tom before i die," amelia told the boys

"i wanna meet zendaya," miguel told them making the three laugh.
