Amelia decided to go to that party, she needed the distraction anyways.
She took an uber to the party where she saw all her friends.
"hey miggy," she smiled
"hey amelia," he said in a sad tone
"whats wrong?" she asked
"its Samantha, she hasnt answered me all day and last time i saw her with a boy eating with her family." he said, "i invited her but dont know if she'll come." he sighed
"miguel im sure she doesnt have her phone or something, shes not the type to cheat." amelia said hugging him
"yeah i guess so, do you want a drink?" he asked her and she nodded
the two got some drinks from the cooler, "is this your first time drinking?" he asked her making her giggle.
"no, yours?" she asked
"yeah," he said embarrassed that the younger girl has drank before him
"omg," she smiled, "its okay its not that bad, Try it."
he took a big sip out of the beer and made a face of disgust, "this shit is kinda gross." he said
"LOL, its okay you dont have to drink it. who got the drinks for you all?" she asked
"your boyfriend," he smiled
"oh. where is he?" she asked
"i dont know, he was with moon last." je told her making amelia's face drop
"oh" was all she said and looked around for them, seeing her boyfriend making out with moon. "are you gonna drink that?" she asked miguel
"no," he said handing her his drink
"thanks," she smiled and drank it.
"hey isnt that sam?" amelia smiled at miguel, "go to her"
"yeah! thanks. can you come?" he asked
"ill stay here, you need to talk to her yourself." she smiled and he left
"Hey." samantha said to miguel
"Who's this guy?" miguel asked her
"robby?" amelia asked confused watching them from far, she was still mad at him. why was he with samantha again
"This is your boyfriend?" robby asked her
"Yeah. Miguel, relax. This is Robby. He works for my dad. "
"Oh, with your dad. Okay, that makes a lot of sense." miguel said mad
"What is that supposed to mean? Wait, have you been drinking?" she asked upset
"No, no, no. You don't get to turn this on me. I texted and called you all day and you couldn't answer me back once?"
"No, I literally couldn't. My mom took my phone. " Samantha told him
"Oh, that's so convenient."
"Hey, man..." robby tried to calm down
"You get out of here!" miguel pushed him
"Miguel, stop it!" amelia said walking to them, making robby look at her. upset with the friends she had made.
Miguel was so angry he accidentally pushed samantha when he tried pushing robby.
"Sam. Sam, l'm sorry." he said notcing what he did
"God, you asshole!"
"What the hell was that?" amelia asked him making miguel look at her mad
"My dad was right about Cobra Kai. Good luck at the tournament. I won't be there." was the last thing she said before leaving to her car again
"Sam. Sam, wait!" miguel yelled
"miguel, calm down. ill try to talk to her." she told him, "come on lets get you seated." and took him to sit down with her
"thats my brother," she told him upset
"oh god. im so sorry amelia-"
"its not your fault," she smiled, "i would tell you if they were something but he doesnt talk to me right now."
Amelia put her head on his shoulder, "miguel?"
"yeah?"
"youre an amazing friend." she smiled
"thanks amelia, you are too." he told her, "so what happened with hawk? did you find him?"
"yeah, making out with moon." she told him
"oh god im sorry," he told her
"no its okay," she lied, "if thats what he wants, thats what he can get."
Miguel looked at her and hugged her side, today was already hard for her and for his best friend to do that even affected him.
Little did they both know, hawk was watching them from far. Angry.
Hawk walked over to them, "so this is what you do now? go with my girl?" he asked miguel
"no. you dont get to turn this on us, you were making out with your lovely new friend moon. miguel and i are here heartbroken having each others back as we should." amelia said angrily, "come on miguel lets go." she said walking away but bumping into hawk as she was angry.
"amelia is this what you actually wanna do?" miguel asked her
"yes! i miss the old him anyways," amelia told him ordering the uber to get her and miguel back home.
the two got into the car and stayed quiet, they both wanted silence anyways. And on top of that they didnt want a stranger to know their business.
