"whag are we gonna do?" he asked amelia

"make over!" she smiled

Amelia took him to the hair salon where she dyed half of her hair blue and he got a mohawk with blue hair.

"wow; even more badass. i'm digging it," amelia smiled

"thanks amelia,' he smiled he felt like a real badass now too.

"come, i have a friend who can do something cool for us," she smiled taking him to a tattoo shop.

"ricooo my man, hook us up?" amelia said

" of course, hows your family?" he asked her

"same as always. mom somewhere drinking and R out somewhere." she smiled and he nodded understanding.

"what can i get u?" he asked her

"well he can go first," she smiled pointing at eli

"right, well what do you want? nice mohawk by the way," rico told him

"a hawk in the back," he smiled and rico nodded. 14 hours in that damm chair.

Amelia on the other hand got two small ones on her wrists.

They paid and left to Amelia's house, "holy shit i'm hungry." eli said

"me too. your tattoo took too long," amelia giggled

"sorry baby," he said more confident than ever and pulled her by her waist

"wow," amelia smiled. she loved this side of eli now too. she loved the shy him as much as the confident him.

The next day the two went together to the dojo, getting a lot of reactions.

"Eli, what happened?" miguel asked

"I'm flipping the script." eli said with a smirk

"Wait, are you the kid with the lip?" johnny asked making amelia roll her eyes

"Nice cut, bro. You see that? Doesn't matter if you're a loser or a nerd or a freak. All that matters is that you become badass." johnny tells the dojo and smiles at eli, "Hawk.Fall in."

Eli's life changed that day. For the better was what everyone thought. But would it be for the better?

Eli was him now. he wasn't scared anymore. he had his best friend miguel and his girlfriend amelia. he had some super badass mohawk and attitude that would cover up his lip.

Johnny smiled at amelia, he knew she had been a great help with eli. he liked that even if she was a bitch at points she had soft spots for people she actually liked. Even if he hadn't seen her grow he knew she would be successful whether she wanted too or not.

"miguel you coming?" amelia asked as miguel was taking forever

"no, i actually need to talk to sensei about something," miguel told her and she nodded

"uhm okay. well i'll see you tomorrow," amelia smiled and hugged him before she left with eli.

Miguel had stayed to tell Johnny about the girl he liked, Samantha.

Johnny playfully joked with him, "oh i thought you liked amelia and there was gonna be a big fight between the three of you."

"what? no." miguel looked at him weird, "she's like my little sister-"

"i was joking," johnny said turning serious while eli and amelia were out eating at in n out.

"howd you feel today?" amelia asked smiling at eli

"great. i think i wanna go by hawk now, expect you can call me eli if you don't want to call me hawk." he smiled at her and she nodded.

"thanks but i think i'll go with hawk," amelia smiled, respecting his decisions knowing he was finally going to be happy.

"what did your mom say?" she asked the boy

"at first she didn't like it but then she saw how happy it made me so she changed her mind. and she even went to buy me hair products," he smiled

"stanning your mom," amelia giggled

"stanning?" hawk asked her

"like supporting- whatever," she laughed making hawk laugh too

"let's celebrate," hawk said

"celebrate what?" amelia asked

"us. and the new us." hawk smiled, "i got a fake ID too." he told her

"omg period!" she said, "not us being like over 21 now." she giggled
