!-Reunion...Part-1

I remember the date well: 4th march 2010. I was in Daegu and about to reach Suga Hyung's home. I had been very excited all morning as I was going to see our gang of seven after three years. After our Engineering this was the first time when all of us – Jin hyung, Suga hyung, Namjoon-ah, Jiminnie, Taehyungie, kookie and I- were going to be together.

During our first year in the hostel, Suga hyung and I were in different rooms on the 4th floor of the block-A building. Being on the same floor, we were acquaintances but I never wanted to interact with him. I didn't think him 'a good guy' because of his fondness for fights and the red on his mark sheet.

But, unfortunately I was late in getting back to the hostel at the beginning of the second year and almost all the rooms were already allotted by then.

I wasn't left with any other choice rather than becoming Suga Hyung's roommate. And because life is weird, things changed dramatically and soon we became the best of buddies. The day our reunion was scheduled, he had been working with an entertainment company for 2 years and is enjoying his life with his dream which was "producing music".

 Min Yoongi or Suga hyung as Jimin named him because of his sweet smile, was blessed with a height of just 5'8', for which everyone teased him but he never gave a damn, a good physique and stunning looks including his raspy voice, a gummy smile for which any girl would die for and he was always sleepy. He always wanted to pursue his dream of making music but thankfully he was able to do it even though he studied engineering for the sake of his parents. He is enjoying his job through a project in London.

Kim Seokjin, or Jin hyung as we called him, is fair, healthy and always happy. His dad jokes which always killed us and his confidence about his handsome looks always annoyed us but he was the older one of the gang who had everyone's back when they needed him.

The reason I used the word 'healthy' is because he will surely kill me if I say he eats like a 'pig'.

He was the first one among us to get a computer in the hostel and his machine was mother of countless computer games. Actually this was the very reason I wanted to be friends with him. His native place was Gwacheon but, at the time of this reunion, he is helping his father with the business in Seoul.

Kim Namjoon, aka 'the genius' named by the youngest ones. The exact reason for the nickname was because of his habit of reading books and for having an IQ of 148.

Unlike the rest of us, he was not at all nocturnal and his rooms light would go off precisely at 11:00 pm. At times, we other 6 used to stand outside his room a few seconds before 11 and begin to count down, "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1....and Joonie has gone down".

The only mysterious thing about Joon was that he used to go somewhere on his bicycle, every Sunday. He never told us where. Whenever we tried to follow him, somehow he would know and would digress from his path to shake us off.

The best thing about the guy, though, is his simplicity. And , very importantly he was the topper in the final semester of our Engineering batch. He belonged to the category of 'professional hard workers'. Currently he is working in Samsung, Seoul and came to Daegu along with Jin hyung.

Park Jimin or Jiminnie as I called him was a very cute but a savage kid who always annoyed us with his weird attractive nature. Rather than being annoyed by his behavior, it would always make everyone else laugh.

He was a one of those guys who would mix in with the gang everywhere or with anyone and fix it well. Being a roommate with Suga hyung and I benefited him as we were always the ones to spend the money for being elders.

Currently he is working in Hyundai, Busan and is very eager to reach Daegu to meet us after a long time.

Kim Taehyung or Taetae, the person with the kindest soul I have ever seen. He was one of those 'adult baby' boy who needed someone else to pamper them. But always stayed by their side if anyone was in need.

Even though he had tanned honeylicious skin, unlike us, he was one of the handsome guys in the university our gang had come across. And obviously very popular among girls.

Currently he is working with Jiminnie in Hyundai, Busan and acting like a excited baby who was going to meet his parents after a vacation.

Last but not least,

The youngest Jeon Jungkook or 'the muscle pig' like we named him for having a bulky figure and monstrous muscles who always killed us with his iron hands, using his strength for no reasons at all.

Unlike everyone he was good in everything as in sports, art, music, dance and the list goes on except the important thing called 'studies'. He would always be nagged at by Joonie for doing everything except studying. Even though he had nothing to be scared for, we knew what was the thing which scared him the most...and that was ....'Girls' especially, 'pretty Girls'.

He is currently working in Hyundai , Busan same as the other two youngest members and is bored to meet us all like always...a boring af.

After college, all of us were pretty much involved in our stereotypical lives. One day, we found out that Suga was coming back from London, that was next week. Everybody was game for a reunion. "Suga's place in Daegu, 4th march," we decided.

Finally, on the scheduled day, I was climbing the stairs to Suga hyung's apartment two steps at a time. It was about 12:30 in the afternoon when I knocked on his door. His mom opened it and welcomed me in. As I had often been there, she knew me well. For me , Suga's house never meant too many formalities. I was having some water when she told me that Suga was not at home and his cell was switched off.

"WOW! And he asked me not to be late," I murmured to myself.

A little later, there was another knock on the door. I got up from my chair to open it, as Suga's mom was in the kitchen. I pulled it open to shouts of, " Ooh.... Burrraaaaaaahhh.... Dude... Yeah man!.... Hobi hyuuuuuungggg.... Huhaaaaaa!!"

No, It wasn't Suga. And the group of five had arrived.

Seeing your college friends after three years is so crazy and exciting that you don't even realize you are at someone else's place where you should show some manners and be polite. Then again the very purpose of this reunion was to recall our college days and this was the perfect start....

A small note for you guys, this story contains long chapters. I know some of you may feel bored but don't feel bad as I will never make any chapters boring..and I will make sure it entertains you.

Apart from the story, I am 1000% sure BTS wouldn't have been friends if they studied in the same college and the same department. Except our sweet 95'ers , they are just forever friends...
