my asian ancestors
they were the ones who suffered
they were the ones being tortured
they were targets
from as early as the year of 1434
yet I still feel their pain
as the rooted generational trauma lives on
forever in our history
always in our hearts
blessed be my asian ancestors
for all the sacrifices they made
blessed be my asian ancestors
for what they went through
so many hurtful experiences
past, present, future
in our heritage
so we will fight for you
like you fought for us
