As Harry sat struggling to compose himself Draco shifted and sat so his leg was crossed over the other one. It was uncomfortable, so he moved. That too was uncomfortable, so he moved again, this time though, his breath hitched halfway through and his leg never made it over. He sat legs splayed and closed his eyes, trying to stop himself from creating the unnecessary friction.

He touched his palms to the floor behind him and sat stretched out. Harry's eyes widened and he let out the smallest of whimpers. Draco opened one eye and focused on him. "Just sit it out," he instructed, trying to ignore the aching feeling. Harry's eyes glazed over ever so slightly.

"Say it again," he asked and Draco nodded. "Sit it out Harry, just try not to do anything. Wait it out." He coached and mere minutes later Harry bit his lip and looked up. Draco's eyes went down and he saw the darkening of the fabric, and when he looked up to see Harry's face he couldn't help himself.
—-time jump to dinner—-

"Drake, right?" Aunt Petunia asked and the blond nodded. "Yes, that's right." He replied nicely. "Would you mind passing the napkins?" Draco hesitated for a moment, not used to being asked to do things, and grabbed one and passed it. "Harry, are you coming to sit down?" Draco asked smoothly and looked at the boy frantically preparing dinner for everyone. "No. He's not." Uncle Dursley cut in and Draco gave him a look like knives piercing into one's heart.

"I'm okay," Harry said and came out of the kitchen with a plate of biscuits for them. "Anything you need?" He asked, addressing the family. "No." The answer was short and harsh, and Harry went to clean up. Once he had done so he went out of the dining area and headed to his room under the stairs.

This was how dinners normally worked at the Privet house, and while Harry was used to it, Draco hadn't seen anything like it.

That night Harry crawled into the same bed as Draco. No more isolation.
