Tzuyu's PoV

"Jisoo, call the two doctors," Jennie said.

"On the way. Ms. Chou, nice to meet you," Jisoo said and bid to me before she left.

Jennie went to her table and smiled at me genuinely.

"I don't really expect you to change so much Tzuyu, but congratulations." She said with high energy.

"Ah yeah, you too. I didn't expect we can work out together." I said.

"Yeah, we better forget what happened before. But before that, how's everyone?" She asked.

"Ne?"

"I mean, everyone. Your squad? I was sad about the news I've been hearing the past years, especially the comeback of Daniel Kang." She said.

"Aren't you in Korea that time?" I asked.

"I was, after a year that the news exploded, I cameback here in New York." She said.

"Then who manages your company in South Korea?" I asked.

"I have a friend to look after the company." She said.

I just nod as I found it so comforting. I mean how can she trust her company to a friend, maybe that friend is really close to her.

"So about the deal, I really admire the fact on how we can help each other here Tzuyu. Your hospital is also upon making medical types of equipment that can supply my medical school. Those can help the students to have smooth learning. And as a return, S. R medical school will send you best graduates doctors that we have." She said.

I nod as she states it right, but one thing I am not sure about...

"I'm just bothered Ms. Kim, you have a company that makes futuristic technologies like Daniel's, then why you chose our company instead of making your own medical equipment?" I asked.

"We are lacking knowledge about that stuff. Besides, we chose to focus on technologies that can help people in daily lives at home. S.R medical school isn't related to Stone Robotics. I just changed the name since I handle both buildings." She said.

"Oh really?"

"Yeah, S.R medical school is founded before Stone Robotics. Basically, you are building a partnership with the medical school and not the company in Korea." She explained.

"Oh, that explains why," I mumbled.

"I never thought you are fun to talk with, the last time I talked to you, you were like about to eat me." She chuckled.

"Jennie, they are on their way." Jisoo interrupts.

My thought was cut as I came curious about the two doctors.

"Thanks, Jisoo, could get us coffee, no sugar for our one doctor."

"Ah yes. Thanks for reminding, I don't want to hear complaints about it." Jisoo said and left.

I just chuckled and get back to Jennie.

"Anyway, about these doctors—"

"They will be the one I will send to you. Actually, I am going back to Seoul too, with them."

"Oh, that is good."

"These two doctors are well trained and graduated in their majors. One is a psychiatrist. And the other one is a pediatrician." Jennie said.

"And to impress you, they are part of the developing cure," Jennie said that made me shocked.

"Developing cure!?" I asked to check if I heard it wrong.

Apparently, Developing cure is the name of special project that combines all the best doctors in the world to organize and discover the treatment for the rare illness that happened to spread out years ago.

That is the illness that killed my brother, and the illness that Sanhee has up until now.

"Wait, there's already a treatment for it?" I asked as I get curious.

Jennie smiled and nod.

I gasped as I realized how big the gold that I just dug.

No way

"It was just made last month. There's still no news about it since it's confidential BUT, the treatment is working."

"Oh my gosh, this is so... oh god." I chuckled.

"Although the treatment is just to prevent the illness to kill the body system," Jennie said.

I'm still shocked as I tried to catch up on her information. I mean I can't believe that the two doctors that will work on my hospital are part of the biggest project around the world.

What more shocking news that I can hear today!?

[Knock Knock]

We both looked at the door as we heard a knock. The door went open and a girl in short hair came wearing a casual attire with Jisoo.

"Ms. Chou, this is Dr. Shin Ryujin, a psychiatrist that is part of Developing cure," Jennie said.

I stand up and reached my hand to her.

"Nice to meet you. I am Chou Tzuyu, the chairwoman of Chou Hospital in South Korea."

"I heard a lot about you chairwoman Chou. I am Dr. Shin Ryujin." She said and greet me with a smile.

"Where's your partner?" Jennie asked.

I looked at Jisoo as she shuts her mouth. Jennie seems so annoyed as she looks at Dr. Shin.

"She can't come."

"What?"

"Something happened... I guess."

I just sighed as I feel bad for Jennie. It looks like she handled a smart but troublesome doctor.

"Sorry for that Ms. Chou, I guess the next encounter will be in the president's awarding." She said.

"President's awarding?" I asked.

"Yeah, the president of South Korea conducted an awarding, That is why we are going back to South Korea too."

"Oh ok, so it will be publicized?" I asked.

"Yeah, I got a call from the press. Tomorrow, we will go back to South Korea for the interview."

"I see, It's nice to meet you, Dr. Shin."

"So do you want to roam around, I can ask Jisoo to go with you. I need to do something so I can't accompany you." Jennie said.

"It's fine, I'll take a short tour," I said and looked at Jisoo.

We walked out after that and roamed around the school. I asked for some information about the other doctor that will be working with me and the only thing that Jisoo said is,

"She's smart, But don't know how to live."

I know someone who used to be that kind of person. And those people are the ones who've been through a lot.

"If you are wondering what she looks like, this is her. Dr. Seo Namhye, known as Dr. K." Jisoo said and points to a frame on the wall where the top students of S.R medical school were posted.

"She was known as Dr. K as the kids that used to be her patients before named her after a character on a kiddie show. She has a soft side when it comes to kids." Jisoo said.

I looked at the frame as I suddenly have thought if my eyes are deceiving me.
