I repeatedly check the papers on my table but Lucas, Chenle, Sanha, and Kai's papers are not in the file.

That's why they are not improving in their position because their papers are not here.

"Umji-ssi, one last thing... Are you the one who informed the president about the progress?"

"Well before, our team used to do it. I mean, like on us when we are not yet here in the department I have a team then we report on the scholarship department about the tasks that we finished. Then the head will report it back to the CEO to decide. But this time, President Kang is the one who's confirming the done task, then we are the ones who passed the progress."

That's why. Daniel is really blocking the boys' progress, that's why they are not moving.

The scholarship department won't able to record their progress since the boys' papers are not here...

I just nod as I saw her gave Umji a pack of food.

Umji probably missed her sister, and Irene never failed to act like one.

A thing that I never experienced on her, she even-sided my brother...

"Dr. K, it's almost lunch, don't you want to take a break?" She asked while I am facing the papers and reviewing them.

"Thank You, Ms. Bae, but I am all good," I said.

"She's really good unnie, on her first day, she already taking her work seriously," Umji said.

"That's nice, anything I could help?" She asked making me look at her.

I stopped and checked her. I smiled and nod.

"Well, I'm kinda confused."

"Oh, why?"

"The record said that you have overall 1000 workers. You can see, your name is in here. Bae Joohyun #2/1000. But the number of the last worker in the paper is #996/1000... where are the 4 others?" I asked.

She frowned and walk closer to my table and checked the paper.

"Oh right, Umji... there is 4 missing paper, have you checked this before?"

Umji stood up in her place and went closer too.

"That is the only paper that the president gave. He even asked Yeri unnie to drop it here."

"Whose papers are missing?" Irene asked.

"Wait, let me check," Umji said and scanning the paper one by one.

After many minutes, Umji found out the missing papers.

"It's the DOT-I's."

"What? Are you sure?"

"Yes unnie, according to my desktop, they stop finishing tasks for almost a year," Umji said.

I knew it, tsk!

"They've been doing missions since then. They didn't even stop. That's why they are not moving, I thought your progress standards just went up." Irene said.

"Oh, I feel bad for them... what are we going to do know unnie?"

"I'll talk to Daniel to reconfirmed all the task that was done by DOT-I." She said.

"Wait, Dr. K, would you like to come with me?"

"For?"

"To check the records of the left 4. Also to check up on them, they've been exhausted these past weeks. Since you are a doctor..."

She smiled and instructed me to follow her. Along our way to leave the building, I suddenly remembered that I can't get in a car.

"Let's go," Irene said and handed me a helmet making me frowned.

"W-we're not taking cars?" I asked surprisingly.

"Oh, are you more comfortable with that? I wasn't able to bring my car. I usually use my motorbike."

"No, it's fine," I said.

As I wear my helmet, I can't stop thinking about how lucky I am today. All my plan is running on the right path. Not exactly but not bad.

"Let's go." She said and rode on her motorbike.

"So this is the main building. Where technology department is also in." Irene said as we walk in.

"Jihyo!"

I looked at Jihyo as Irene called her. Jihyo walks to us and saw me. She smiled awkwardly so I just smiled back.

"Dr. K, uh good to see you here," Jihyo said.

"Thank you."

"She's under Joy's department but I asked her to be here. Can you bring her to your kids?"

Kids?!

"Huh, why?" Jihyo asked.

"She'll be checking up them. I noticed that the boys are not doing good and were exhausted. I just need to fix something."

"Dr. K, is it ok if you'll go with her first? I'll get back to you after." She said.

Without even letting me reply, she left and leave me with Jihyo.

Oh gosh! This is what I didn't expect!

"Uh, Dr. K, let's go." She said.

I nodded and followed her then After a long, I realized that we are heading familiarly. The room that I asked on Nayeon unnie before, they are still using it.

"Boys!"

I widened my eyes to warn them since they seemingly forgot that they should act normally.

Oh god, they are a huge mess.

"Ohh, well, she's here to check you up. Line up." Jihyo said.
