Chapter 12

Elsa

Merida was already asleep when I walked into the room. I chuckled and sat on my bed. I stared at the wall. Just, thinking.

Did I make the right decision about confronting dad about Jack? I admit that I feel bad for starting a conversation with him about boys in a harsh way, but I can't not have a boyfriend forever.

I lied down and got underneath the sheets. I slowly started drifting off to sleep, thoughts still running through my mind.

The next morning I was woken up by the feeling of my shoulders being shook. I grunted before opening one eye.

It was obviously Jack.

I yawned and sat up slowly.

"What do you want?" I asked and rubbed my eyes.

"Well good morning too. I slept fine, thanks for asking." He said sarcastically and I looked over to Merida. Who was still sound asleep.

"Jack. What time is it?" I asked and he sat on the bed.

"Like, 6:30." He replied. "Why would you make me get up so early?" I said and pushed him. He grinned.

"So I can show you to your breakfast I prepared myself and so that we won't be hungry or late when we go shoot for the movie later." He said happily making me grunt.

"Why are you so happy in the morning? It doesn't make sense." I grumbled and he rolled his eyes. "C'mon. The food is going to get cold." He said and I stood up and followed him out the door.

"How come you don't wear the necklace I got you?" He asked.

"I have it in my bag, I just don't wear it. For some reason." I said, not understanding my own self. "Sorry." I finished.

"It's okay. No big deal."

He started walking downstairs and he gripped my hand along the way, making me grin. We made it to the back porch that had a view of the ocean by the house. I usually never go out here, especially since Rapunzel and her little group hang out here.

He motioned to a table and we both sat down. I grinned more at the sight. Orange juice, waffles, fruits, croissants, wow.

I touched my neck and winced as I did so. Jack smirked as I made eye contact with him.

I rolled my eyes and we started eating.

"So I was talking to your dad earlier." Jack said and drank some orange juice and went back to eating his croissant.

"What did you two talk about?" I asked curiously and ate a strawberry.

"Well, we talked for a long time. And... he said I was able to date you." He said happily, a little more than usual.

I grinned. "But who said that we were going to date in the first place?" I asked and raised an eyebrow. He rolled his eyes.

"That's on you. So Elsa Summers. What's your answer?" He asked and looked me in the eye.

I chuckled and ruffled his hair.

"Alright. Fine. I'll be your girlfriend." I said and he smirked.

"Great. We can go somewhere after we shoot today, we're not shooting as long." He said and we finished eating before it was 7.

Jack cleaned the table. What a gentlemen.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and placed a kiss on my cheek. "Go get ready, I'll meet you down here later." He said and we held hands as we walked upstairs.
