Chapter 20
Elsa
6 months later...
I was quietly getting ready to go have a meeting with my manager. It was early in the morning, about 8 AM. Jack usually wakes up around 9 AM, 10:30 on the weekends. Which was today. It was a Sunday, and I'd much prefer if I didn't have a meeting today but oh well.
I was wearing white jeans with dark blue heels. I was wearing a dark blue tank top and had a white cardigan on top of it. My hair was in it's usual braid, and my makeup was done. I was downstairs, quickly getting my breakfast.
I yawned as I started pouring myself some coffee. As I waited for the coffee to finish, one of Jack's maids came in. Well, I prefer saying one of our maids. And I don't think of them as maids most of the time. Maybe friends. Eh.
"Good morning, ma'am Elsa. Would you like me to make you breakfast?" She asked and I grinned.
"I'm fine, Ingrid. I'll just make myself a bowl of cereal since I'm heading to a meeting soon." I said and she nodded before walking off to go do what she usually does.
The coffee finished, and I started making a bowl of cereal. I remained standing by the kitchen counter, eating the cereal and drinking the coffee.
I felt hands wrap around my waist, and I jumped.
"Relax, snowflake. It's just me." Jack said in his morning voice. I relaxed in his embrace.
"Why are you up? You've been busy the past few days, you're always coming home late from meetings and you're always tired. I thought you needed the rest." I replied as I drank my coffee.
"Of course I'm tired. But I'd never let my beautiful girlfriend leave the house without saying good-bye." He replied tiredly and nuzzled his head into my neck.
I grinned and ate a spoonful of cereal.
"Aw, how sweet. What do you want for breakfast? I can make you something before I head out." I said and I felt him smile against my skin.
"I'm okay, gorgeous. I can just have a bagel or something. I have to go to a meeting later anyway. Then I'm going to visit Merida and Hiccup around 3 in the afternoon. Do you want me to pick you up after your meeting?" He asked and opened his mouth.
I took my spoon out the bowl and put it in his mouth. He ate it and I chuckled as he opened his mouth again. I gave him another spoonful.
"I can't, honey. My meeting lasts until it's around 5. And my dad is going to be there." I replied and he nodded understandingly.
My phone beeped, signaling me it was time to go. Jack frowned and unwrapped his arms from my waist. I finished the coffee and let Jack have some of the cereal.
"I'll try and text you sometime. Bye sweetie!" I said and kissed his cheek before picking up my bag and walking into the garage.
I got in my car that mom sent here, and started driving to Frostbitten CO. Once I got there, I parked and walked into the second building. I checked in and went to the meeting room on the 8th floor.
I walked in to see my manager, her name is Mulan. I absolutely love being with her, she's hilarious.
I shook her hand and we sat down. We simply talked about how the past few days have been. After a few exchanged sentences, she said,
"Let's get down to business."
Jack
I watched as Elsa walked out the kitchen, toward the garage. She walked away and I sighed. I rubbed my eyes.
