toxic relationships (male reader x fem venom/carnage/anti-venom/Toxin)

ch2 new neighbor

The young waiter wishes another satisfied customer a good day as they walk out the door. The boy goes to turn around and tidy up the cafe when the bell at the door rings and a familiar face walks in

Y:"ah Helena! Back for your usual again?"

Helena:"oh you know me so well (y/n)"

Y:"well if you'll follow me I'll take you to a booth"

Helena:"u-um, actually (y/n) I was wondering if you have taken your break yet, maybe we could sit and talk longer than we normally do" 

Helena turns her head to the side with a small blush on her face from asking such a thing, 

Anti-venom (thoughts):"pussy"

Helena(thoughts):"shut up"

Y:"sure it sounds great let me grab another waiter real quick, hey Jimmy!"

Jimmy:"what's up?"

Y:"come here for a second"

As y/n explains the situation to a fellow co-worker, Helena is staring at the boy while talking with the voice in her head

Anti-venom (thoughts):"your right his voice is soothing"

Helena(thoughts):"yeah and he's just so cute! Are you sure I'll be able to win him over? What if I fail? What if he isn't into me and he hates me after I ask"

Anti-venom (thoughts):"ah there you go doing what all the other humans do. You doubt yourselves too much."

Y:"ok let's go sit down"

The 2 sit down in their booth and order what they want. Shortly after the same news anchor from yesterday comes on the tv

"Breaking news, we have received reports that venom has defeated Spiderman, we now cut to the clip we received"

The clip shown venom and spiderman in an alley way. Spiderman is giving his speech of how he fights for the good no matter the cost while venom grabs a trashcan and throws it at spiderman who was too distracted with his speech, after he was knocked out venom left the scene and the clip ended and the anchor came back on

"And so venom escapes, does this mean spiderman is getting weaker? Or does this mean his foes are getting stronger? Is water wet? What is the meaning to life? Will the author continue writing stories? Find out next time"

Y;"those 2 at it again? Guess it's just the same stuff different day"

Helena:"yeah, but isn't it kinda scary spiderman lost this time?"

Y:"well to be fair he was giving a speech in the middle of a fight to a murderer who eats people in 2 seconds, he's lucky he only got knocked out"

Helena:"good point"

Y:"well that's the end of my break. Jimmy should be able to get you taken care of, have a nice day"

Helena:"good bye"

The young boy got back to work as Helena sits there and mentally talks with anti-venom in her head about where she came from and how she's related to other symbiotes, after a while helena left and went home. After a couple hours it was dark and y/n had to go home.

Y:"another day another dollar, *sigh* if only I wasn't always afraid some crackhead is gonna take the money from me that'd be great but that's New York for ya"

After a 15 minute walk y/n finally makes it home, while he unlocks the door he sees a girl poke her head out of her door curious of what the sounds in the hallway were

Y:"oh, hi you must be the new neighbor I've heard about, my name's y/n."

He sticks his hand out to shake the girls hand but she jumps from the sudden movement and slams the door shut, confusing the boy. After a couple minutes of processing what just happened he decided to knock on the door to try to apologise for scaring her

*Knock knock*

Y:"hello? I'm sorry if I scared you I was only wanting a hand shake"

Silence

Y:"um if you hear me can you please make any sound"

He waited for a while then heard a quiet tap on the other side of the door

Y:"well um sorry for scaring you and uh I hope we can be good friends in the future…well, goodnight"

The young man unlocks his door and goes into his apartment room. After getting ready for bed and wondering why that girl is so easy to scary he decides just to for get about it and go to bed so he can be prepared for the next day
