Legolas POV~

As I walked into the throne room, I saw Emerin standing right in front of me. She wore a wide smile, and ran up to me,

"Legolas!" She hugged me,

"You're alright!" I sigh, relieved,

"Well obviously." Emerin drew in a sharp breath, and I wondered if she was hurt, but noticed that it was because she had seen Pippin and Merry, "Merry! Pippin! You're here!" She let go of me and bolted over to the hobbits, enveloping them in hugs.

"Emerin!" both of them hugged her back,

"My, my! Have you to grown? You seem to be nearly a foot taller than you were since I last saw you." Emerin smiled as the hobbits stood up straighter, seeming to feel prouder,

"Well, I wouldn't say a foot." Said Pippin bashfully.

Emerin POV~

There was a feast being held tonight in honor of all the warriors who had died. Eowyn helped me get washed up, and lent me a dress. It was a long sleeve dress that had golden silk and black velvet. It was not something that I would where, but it was a nice dress nonetheless. (Picture below)

Before I got changed, Eowyn helped me dress my wounds and clean them. I got dressed up and Did my hair. I looked decent enough. That evening, I stood amongst the men in the great hall, and drank to the soldiers who's lives had been lost. I stood beside Gimli,

"Lassie, have y' never drank ale?" He asked as I looked at his mug of ale with distaste, "Try some. It's good for the soul and mind." He held the mug out to me. I held it in my hands and gingerly sniffed it. I didn't want to upset Gimli, so I raised the mug to my lips and drank it until there was nothing left.

"I didn't know you drank," I felt strong arms wrap around me from behind, as someone whispered in my ear,

"Legolas. I spent over 300 years attending feasts and gatherings that your father arranged so that I could watch over you. And you know how much wine your father has. Of course I've had a few drinks before. Although never enough to get drunk." I smiled and turned my head to that I could face him.

"I forgot about that." Legolas kissed my forehead as he chuckled. Eomer walked up to us,

"Shall I get the lady another drink? Or..." He looked around, unsure of himself.

I handed him my mug of ale, "If it's not too much trouble,"

"One for the two of us as well lass," Gimli gestured to him and Legolas. Eomer nodded and went to go and get more ale, "Now once he gets back, what say you the three of us play a game." Gimli gave a mischievous smile,

"Why not." I looked over to see Eomer returning,

"Here you go." He handed each of us a mug,

"Alrighty then. The game is, we drink until one of us stops. In order to win, you've got to be the last one standing. No stopping, no spilling, and no regurgitation." Gimli explained.
