The Elder Guardians are the Guardians that had children and replaced them in their work. The Elder Guardians are closer to The Core and are looked to for wisdom and aid. They are the oldest beings in all existence (The Core is older. It created them).
Every Guardian is tasked with protecting the balance between different worlds and keeping any harm away from The Core.
