Renjun struggled upon his actions as he forced down a runner to the cabin floor. He used a ripped cloth from his own shirt, kneeing the runner's forehead and wrapping the fabric around it's neck to suffocate it. He gritted his teeth, fighting the struggles while tightening the choke.

The runner clawed his hands, trying to access air, not really knowing what's happening around him. Renjun hissed. He proceeded to smash it's head with his feet, still bent down, not letting go of the cloth.

He sighed once he finished and scrambled behind him, taking in the current situation of the plane.

"We messed up."

"What?"

He wiped his sweat that's dripping down his forehead, his shirt quite damp. His breaths were ragged but he still managed to stand up.

Renjun looked at the voices and saw Astrid and Jaemin talking. He saw Astrid furrow her brows, guessing that she didn't understand fully or even at all. He would treat it as fair. No one really went to her to wake her up.

"I don't understand.. What are you talking about?" Astrid narrowed her eyes to Jaemin.

He turned his focus away from the duo, setting his eyes on the crowded group of people a few meters away in front of him. They're still noisy and chaotic. He noticed that the kids were there too.

Renjun was about to collect himself and not interfere but he remembered what danger they're put in. He rushed upfront, snatching Hwayoung from Jisung before tugging on Hayoon as well. He never really liked kids but he knew enough rather than leave them in disasters.

Hwayoung stayed quiet, her body trembling a bit after seeing the condition they're in. Hayoon, however, finally cried out loud. He wailed in Renjun's arms while trying to reach for Jeno. He sobbed harder once he felt that Renjun isn't getting what he meant. He desperately reached his arms to the familiar boy, loud whimpers leaving his mouth.

Renjun didn't want to give him to the boy since he knew that it's dangerous. He didn't understand so he stayed in his place, farthest from the chaos while he held Hayoon, emotional, in his grasp.

Jaemin raised his brows, unusually calm for this particular situation. He released a short breath of air quite sharply, thinking about how he can tell Astrid. He straightened his posture and spoke lowly, "We have runners on the plane.."

Astrid widened her eyes in disbelief. She shook her head, denying the statement. "No, how did they get here?" she refused to look at the violent sounds of her friends trying to kill the zombies.

The guy just smiled, getting agitated. "And don't forget, it's your fault." his face went closer to Astrid's.

She stood still, frozen on her feet. Her eyes scanned his, looking for any sort of explanation but she got nothing. She leaned back when Jaemin got closer than before. Closer, closer, and closer, until she felt his breath on her face. She closed her eyes, afraid of what he's capable of doing, but she just felt a gush of wind behind her and nothing else.

"You were blocking the weapon," Jaemin rolled his eyes. "Help us kill these ugly heads." he cocked his head behind him, swinging a baseball bat, resting it on his shoulder.

Astrid stumbled, finally catching a breath she didn't know she was holding. She nodded to his words, looking around for a possible object she can use.

She walked to the aisle, suddenly concerned about the driver, Donghyuck. She gripped a metal tray on the way, alert on her surroundings, knowing the truth, finally. She swung the door open, gasping shortly after she saw a zombie about to attack Donghyuck.
