Something .. anything.
A call , a message ?
He waits by his phone anxiously for anything. He doesn't know if there will be anything yet he's still so hopeful.
A chime ? He picks up his phone in a hurry and oh ... it's just another email.
He slumps back into his chair as the silence fills his ears rather harshly.
" I'm waiting.." he says looking down at his hands.
Little beads of sweat start to form as his heart beat picks up.
Why is he nervous like this ?
He runs his fingers through his hair.
And again.
And a few more times.
Why is he so nervous ??
He runs his hands through his hair once more.
"Okay I'll stop." He takes a deep breath.
He looks at the clock as the small ticking sound fills the air.
Tick .. Tick .. Tick..
Why is it so quiet.....?
He gives up.
Why must he feel this much over such a small thing.
He huff defeated.
He gets up to walk away until he hears a chime.
" I can't make it today "
Oh .....
