A voice so sweet it was like a melody,
it danced through my ears,
that beautiful song that I needed so much
I needed to hear those words
I needed to hear your voice

When I was running out of air
struggling to escape the rising water
you grabbed my hand
and told me that even with
that filthy water dripping down my body,
I was beautiful.

There was always something
to dislike in others,
or I could never help but feel
like a bother to others,
but I could never spot a single flaw in you.

So though I was dripping
in this filthy, burden ridden water
your gleaming water trailed down the arm you grabbed,
cleansing me of this hatred.

(This one is somewhat confusing but simple to figure out so I hope you can figure out the meaning behind this poem-)
