Ok so this is an idea for what can happen after the protagonist is killed.
"You...you were supposed to stop me!" The antagonist cried out, slumped over - cradling the lifeless body of the protagonist.
"You were supposed to save the day! You had everything you needed to bring me down...to stop me! Why..." the villain fought the tears that blurred their vision. "Why am I still here...what went wrong?" Their voice trembling, tears slowly trailing down their cheeks. "Please wake up! ...I can't do this alone..."
