^ Hero Fiennes-Tiffin as Noah Grayson. This has got to be the perfect match, and I honestly can't name an actor whose hotter. *Inbox me if you think different, I don't mind being introduced to more hotties hehe*😉😂

Darkness.

Funny how it used to scare me. Always screaming whenever the lights turned off. Always reaching out for anything to hold against me. My father used to tell me it's okay to be afraid, it's okay to have a weakness; because one day it will become my strength.

The day never came.

I've always been afraid of the dark. I pretended I was strong to make my parents proud of me. My parents were never afraid. I wanted to be just like them.

Me? I was scared of everything. I was scared of my own shadows, I was scared when the lightning struck, I was scared of failing. My parents always told me I was strong. They made be believe that maybe I was or that one day that I would be. No. They were more than wrong.

I can barely look in the mirror at myself. Everything reminds me of that day. Why couldn't they teach me to block out my emotions? Why couldn't they tell me the truth? Why couldn't I have grown up?

That's it princess, you've got this.

I was treated like nothing was wrong with me. As though I could never do anything wrong. As if it was just me and them in the entire world and nothing would tear us apart. How wrong was I? If I was so strong then how could I not look my dead father in the eye? If I was so strong why didn't I get help? I stayed immobile, repeating the voices and the scenes before my eyes.

I saw my father's bloody body drop to the ground. Cold and empty. When I looked away I saw the murderers. A group of five men. They were all dressed in black, scarves round their faces and equipped with knives in their pockets. I saw the murderer of my father before me. I saw his long hair in the wind, the scar up his cheek. I saw him slash my father to death, just before he dropped. I even heard what they were saying.

"We've got them sir," One of the horrifying men walked towards the murderer and took off his scarf. He looked angelic almost; he had no scars on his face and looked just as ordinary as I did.

"Just two of them?" The murderer stepped away from my father's body and turned back to my mother. "Only two of you eh?"

"Yes! Only the two of us! Please, please let me go," My mother trembled in front of me. She was so scared. I've never seen her scared before. Then, the man knelt before her and unwrapped his scarf.

"My mistake miss," Just as I thought it was over, his devilish smile twisted and he gripped at her hair, ragging her up off her feet. The ring of my mother's screams of pain and tears sounded through my ears, as he threw her back hard into the ground again. He threw her down so hard that I heard her skull crunch beneath her body. Another lifeless body before me. "You are not forgiven. Let's move!"
