Jhoana woke up during the middle of night. Bumangon muna siya to get some water.

"Ay alangya, Deanna. What are you doing there?" Nagulat siya nang makita ang pinsan sa sofa, wide awake with her coffee.

"Ya know coffee won't help you get to sleep right." She chuckled.

Jhoana proceeded to the kitchen to get a glass of water when she noticed Deanna in total silence and just staring at the wall.

"Lasing ka no?" She sat beside her.

Deanna raised her brow on Jho. "Judger neto."

"Naka-high?" Jho continues to ask.

"Grabe ka sakin, ate Jho."

Jhoana chuckled. "Eh bakit ka tulala?"

"Wala naman. Nag-iisip lang."

Jhoana continues to observe Deanna. "Inlove o heartbroken?"

Deanna turned to Jho.

"Now we're talking." Jho teased and the other just rolled her eyes.

"I was dating someone." Deanna started to say.

"Oooohhh." Jhoana continues to tease.

"Walang oooohh don. 'Was' nga di ba."

Jhoana's teasing smiles turned to empathy looks. "Anyare?"

"Di pa raw siya ready to commit. Maraming siyang responsibilities, especially to her family. She's a working student." Deanna sadly smiled.

Jho paused and observed Deanna intently. "So you were ready to commit. You're inlove?"

Deanna sighed and took a sip of her coffee. "I guess."

Saddened about how Deanna's dating turned out but Jhoana can't hide her happiness to know that her cousin is inlove.

"Oh my goodness, you're inlove!!!" She screamed and keep wiggling Deanna.

Natawa naman si Deanna and she just realized too that yeah, she's inlove.

"You're a grown up now. Wow." Sabi pa ni Jho.

"Pero wala eh. Pinagtagpo pero hindi tinadhana." Deanna said.

"Malay natin, hindi man kayo ngayon baka in the future.."

"Sa tamang panahon." They simultaneously said.

Jho and Deanna both chuckled and stared at the wall.

"What does it feel?" Jho asks.

"To be inlove?" Deanna asked back and the other nodded.

Deanna has to smile. "So so so great."

"Made life more worth living."

Jho smiled at Deanna and pat her back. "I'm happy for you."

Deanna chuckled. "Hanapan na ba kita ng jowa? Gusto mo na rin mainlove no?"

"Di ah." The other rolled her eyes.

At kahit gusto ko, hindi naman pwede.

The two spent the night talking about Deanna's special one that the next day they were so grumpy and so they decided to grab some bread from their new favorite bakeshop— Everything Dough.
