The next morning I get woken up when I feel light kisses moving along my shoulder. I smile feeling Charles' arms winding around me, "bonne matin Del" he murmurs making me open my eyes before turning to face him. The Monégasque smiles his hair all over the place, I giggle and bring a hand up to brush through the messy hair, he lowers his head to my collarbone making it easier for me to run my fingers through the tangled strands. After a few seconds he drops a kiss to my skin and pulls away from my arms getting out of the bed, I watch him sneak into my tiny en-suite.
This gives me the opportunity to slide out of bed to change for work. As I'm buttoning up my work shirt Charles places his hands on my hips, I jump in surprise not expecting it. I proceed to look up at him, "désolé" I shrug, "I'm not used to you being with me on a work day" he smiles and I finish buttoning up the shirt I have tucked into my dark jeans. "Tu regarde ci belle ma chérie" he murmurs getting me to smile up at him, "merci, mais ce n'est pas tellement spéciale" I reply thinking nothing of the professional attire. The Ferrari driver bites his lip while looking me over, I blush not being able to look at him, but he tilts my chin his way so that he can drop a kiss to my lips that is a bit too heated for the morning. My hands move to his chest gently pushing him away, "Char" I murmur into the kiss, he brings me closer getting a giggle out of me which makes him pull away. "Je dois aller ou je vas être tard" he sighs but nods nonetheless, "okay, je t'aime" I press a kiss to his cheek, "I'll be back before you know it, and then you'll have me all to yourself" he smiles and kisses my head. I bite my lip as I walk out of the room, peering back one last time at my boyfriend before leaving for work.

I walk into the house at the end of the day and am immediately pulled into a hug. I giggle winding my arms around Charles, "I wasn't gone that long" I murmur into him, "oui c'était trop long" he replies before kissing my head. "You can be as clingy as you want but I'm still angry that you exposed me on Instagram yesterday" he pulls away slight while pouting at me, I shake my head, "no way Char, don't even try that on me" I get out of his arms to be able to slide off my shoes. "Je suis désolé Del" I purse my lips with eyebrows furrowed, "doesn't change that Daniel is gonna tease me about this for the foreseeable future" he sighs and takes my hand gently, "were you serious about never coming to a race again?" I look up seeing the sadness in his eyes. I shake my head bringing him into a tight hug, "no of course not I'm your number one fan" he kisses my temple making me smile, "okay I need to get into something comfy so time to let go" he laughs and steps away from me so that I can go to my room with him on my heels.
When i'm in some leggings, a hoodie and fluffy socks Charles pulls me onto my bed, laying down before tugging me to rest against his chest. "What did you get up to today" I ask while taking the Monégasque's hand to play with his fingers, "I hung out with your brother" he replies making me laugh, "I hope that he didn't annoy you too much" he kisses my head before replying, "he didn't Del, we had a good time", I smile tilting my head back to see him, "i'm glad" he smiles and I sigh relaxing back into him.
"Ma chérie?" Charles asks a few seconds later, I shift my body so that I can turn to face him, "do you see a future with me?" I'm surprised by the question sitting up straighter seeing the uncertainty in his eyes. "Char" I murmur while leaning forward to bring a hand to his cheek, "I only ever see a future with you, I can't wait to keep being by your side through the good and the bad" I tell him, "I wanted to make sure because the distance and time zones can be hard to go through, especially in a relationship" he adds his eyes staying locked on mine, "I've never been more sure of anything in my life" he smiles and I lean forward to press a kiss to his lips, climbing onto his lap gently. "Je t'aime" the Ferrari driver murmurs into my lips, "je t'aime Char" I reply before locking our lips again. After a few more kisses I pull away and get out of his lap laying next to him with a smile. "No more worrying, I'm yours for the long haul" I say without looking up at the brunette, he kisses my head before placing a hand just under my hoodie to pull me closer for the rest of the relaxing evening.
