TWO YEARS LATER

"I'm so unbelievably proud of you" he says as we pull out of our hug

"I'm proud of you as well you know" I chuckle to him

"You just walked for Victoria's Secret!" He exclaims as he wraps his arms around my waist

"And you scored multiple times at the World Cup" I smile as I look into his eyes as my hands snake around the back of his neck

"Yeah but we still got knocked out so-" he begins, the wounds still sore from their exit out of the tournament

"Shut up I'm still so proud" I smile

"I love you Nylah Odessa" he says

"I love you too Mason Mount" I say before we share a sweet kiss

I know I know I got back with an 'ex'

But when Mason and I were together first we were only young

He was still trying to break into Chelsea's first team and I was just starting out as a model

I'm glad Mason and I got back in touch and rekindled our relationship

And I'm even more happy that we have somehow managed to make the distance work for just over a year as he obviously still lives in the U.K. and I live in New York

I've lived in New York for two years now

It's honestly been the best time of my life

I've grown closer to lots of people in the same industry as me, or similar

I've been networking a lot and obviously since landing my Victoria's Secret role as an angel I have been mixing with the best

"God you two break it up" Kendall Jenner laughs as Mason and I are forced apart

"Babe" she whines into my arm as she wakes up slowly

I start to feel her small hands tugging at the sleeve of my hoodie

"Yes?" I ask her softly

"How long was I asleep for?" She asks me as she rubs her eyes

"A solid hour I'd say, you were definitely dreaming though" I chuckle as she blushes

"Oh how do you know" she says as she facepalms

"You were talking and twitching in your sleep" I chuckle and she groans as she tries to hide her face in her hands

I'm distracted when I hear the door to our apartment open until the second door reveals it's obviously freezy that's back home

"Harry" he nods as a greeting

"Katie" he nods at her but with less enthusiasm

Ever since I got back with Katie he has had a problem with it

I know he found a good friend in Nylah but he has known Katie way longer and I was with Katie for longer both before and after Nylah that I'd hope he would be more accepting and welcoming of her but I'm wrong

"I'm going for a shower" Katie says awkwardly before we share a sweet kiss

"Have you seen?" Freezy asks me as soon as Katie leaves the room

"Seen what?" I groan in frustration as I have no clue what he is on about

"Nylah, she walked for Victoria's Secret again" he says smiling at me

"No I didn't see, I have a girlfriend" I snap

"Never stopped you before bog did it" he replies
sarcastically

God I hate freezy sometimes

I'm pleased for Nylah of course as she always said she wanted to walk for Victoria's Secret but her and I ended two years ago now

I don't have an interest in what she does

As I'm sure she definitely shares the same opinion as me

She's clearly happy with Mason, and I'm happy with Katie

People move on

Nylah and I clearly weren't meant to be

"Have you even seen Nylah recently?" He asks me as he scrolls on his phone

I shake my head

I only know about her and Mason because freezy feels the need to give me updates about her all the time

Which gets frustrating because I'm beginning to think he fancies her

He plonks his lanky arse next to me and shoves his phone in my face

And right in front of me is a video clip of Nylah walking down the runway in barely anything for Victoria's Secret

She looks

She looks different from how I remember her

I know it's two years

But woah

She has more of a tan now which is probably down to moving to America but she just looks different and I can't quite put my finger on it

It's a good different though

I notice however that she has now gone blonde and it suits her

"Harry is in love again" freezy jokes as he pulls away his phone from me

"Piss off. Like I said I'm with Katie and I'm happy. Both Nylah and I have moved on and I think you should too" I say as I pat his shoulder

"Look as a mate I just don't think Katie is right for you. Just because you've known her for years doesn't make her right. She's too conniving for my liking" he says as he bites his cheek

"I appreciate you looking out for me but I know what I'm doing" I say as I pat his shoulder once again before I leave him to go to my room
