"Alright. Where are you?" I muttered, silently walking into a room, there's no doubt something fishy is going on here. Just as I walked past the doors they shut automatically and the doors were barred. I whipped around and immediately got on guard, just then a voice spoke through the speakers
"I never would have thought you'd fall for such a cheap trick Lone Wolf" I narrowed my eyes and scanned the room for any possible exits. "You won't find any other exit than the way you entered" The person informed
"What is it you want?"
"I have a plan with your little classmates. I can't have you ruining it for me" I let out a deep breath. "And to make sure that my plan happens with no interruptions, I have a little something special for you"
That voice...
"What do you want with them?"
"I just want a little payback, on them and you. Once I finish with them I'll get you. And seeing as we both know that you are far stronger than me, I have something that will weaken you. Giving me an advantage. Have fun with some VX" My eyes widened when I heard that. I punched the door in anger
"Come and face me like a man!!" I continuously punched the wall but stopped when a slight sound of gas being released was heard. I instantly covered my mouth with my top and continued to punch the wall in an attempt to break it
VX is the world's fourth deadliest poison if I inhale any of it I'm screwed. There's only one antidote but that isn't here, but it's not like I can hold my breath forever
I clenched my fist out of frustration, then that man came back. "Don't worry Lone Wolf, I'll let you go as soon as you inhale some"
I squinted my eyes shut and tried to rack up possibilities that could lead to my exit without breathing it in but... there were none. I had no choice but to, though I'll continue trying to get out without doing that
I pulled my katana out and started slipping the blade through the small gap between the double doors. I hope this works...
10 Minutes Later
You can actually hold your breath for that long, google it if you don't believe me
It's been ten minutes since I've held my breath. 'I... can't hold it any longer' I let out a long breath and began panting. Almost immediately I felt the effects of the poison. I started coughing heavily and I got a splitting headache. I gripped my forehead in pain and as I was about to lose my mind, the door behind me opened. I quickly ran out, gasping for fresh air. I doubled over and placed my hands on my knees. Then that man came back, but this time he called me
"I'm surprised you held out for that long Lone Wolf. As expected of such a high-rank assassin. I'll be waiting for you. Jā matane" With that he hung up. I growled and quickly began running off toward wherever the others are
'If you think I'm going down that easily. Then you can think again'
5 minutes later
I fumbled to grasp my phone into my hands, quickly typing my password in and pressing Strawberry's number in and bringing my phone to my ear. 'Pick up dammit Strawberry.' A few rings later he picked up
"Strawberry?" I questioned
"Mizuki? What's wrong?"
"Where are you? Give me your location, the others are with you too right?"
