"Oh that's realll cute to you isn't it?" (Y/n) asked, starting to become irritated.
"I wish it could be. I don't know who you are." Stan said, looking upset for the poor girl. (Y/n)'s pretty (e/c) eyes started to water, causing her to bring the blanket to her eyes.
"Then who are all the flowers from?" She asked quietly.
"I don't know, I'm so sorry. I really would love to tell you the answers to your questions. Could you answer one of mine?" He asks gently, smiling at her softly. He was always so damn gentle with her. She began to cry as he bent slightly to speak face to face with her, however, she nodded.
"What do you think is going on?" He asked, remaining with his impartial delicacy towards her.
"You, Richie, Ben, Bev, Mike, Bill, and Eddie are my friends. I moved to Derry in the beginning of the year and I met you guys and we became friends. You and Rich both liked me and I liked both of you and I-I.." She pauses, hiccuping a cry, "I was with Richie and then I kissed you because I was drunk and Richie drove off into the rain and I tried to follow him but," (Y/n) takes another break, crying out loud. Stanley pulls her into a hug, not completely sure why he feels such sympathy for a delusional stranger.
"Can you keep going?" He asks, stroking her head gently. She nods again and wipes her tears. By now, the rest of the Losers are more worried about Eddies broken arm.
"Well, I crashed and I just woke up to come see you guys because I m-missed you and now you don't know me." (Y/n) breaks down crying in Stan's arms. And he repeats the words that he had said to her so long ago:
"C'mon. Shhhh, you're ok. It's all gonna be ok, (Y/n)."
As Richie came in for his daily 2 hour visit with (Y/n), after Stan's, of course, he held a small box in his hand, and flowers in the other. He had been bringing her favorite flowers every day since the accident, in hopes that she would smell them and decide to wake up. Richie sat in the chair next to her bed, holding up the gift.
"Right in time for Easter." He smiles. He waits a moment for a returned gesture and instead her heart beat picks up a little bit. Richie grabs her hand in his and sets the box next to the dozens of flowers he's gotten her.Richie sighs loudly before quietly saying, "I got mad because my worst fear is losing you, so I ran away. Ironic, huh? I shouldn't have been so jealous, but I know he's better for you. He's smarter, more reliable, arguably as attractive as I am." He chuckles lightly at his words.
(Y/n)'s mom knocked softly at the door to let Richie know that she needed in there. "Honey, why don't you go home and take a shower? I'm sure she would hate to see you so upset." She suggested, giving a kind smile. Richie nodded and left the room reluctantly.
(Y/m/n) took Richie's seat next to her daughter and took a moment to look over her baby's face. While she was, in fact, no longer a baby, (Y/m/n) would always see her as the same child she carried out of the hospital 16 years back. All those years ago, the universe gave her something that would save her life. And even though (Y/m/n) was only 19 years old, (Y/n) came at the perfect time.
"My baby, I wish we didn't have to move. I don't want you to grow up away from your dad, honey. It's just dangerous for you in Tennessee. I should've told you sooner." The woman says, holding her hand to her daughters resting face.
Just then, (Y/d/n) enters the room. He silently takes his place by (Y/m/n), rubbing her shoulders gently.
"She getting any better?" He asked, looking at his kid. She shook her head and frowned, "It's been the same for the past few days."With a quiet creak of the door, the doctor came in. She stood for a moment, flipping through the pages on her clipboard, before speaking. "I'm really sorry, Mrs. and Mr. (L/n), but we cannot guarantee that your daughter is going to wake up." The tan woman said remorsefully. "However, she does seem to be in a neutral state, rather than the bad one she was in when she got here. There's hope, of course. She has a good pulse and is keeping the nutrients well. She's healthy as a horse, but she could still remain in a coma for several more months."
"So, we figure out what to do with the basket case yet?" Richie asked, the rest of the group, now including Eddie, trailing behind him.
"She's not a basket case Rich. She clearly isn't lying." Stan defends.
"H-how d-d-do we know she's not l-lying?" Bill asked Stan.
"Tell Bill what you told me." Stan whispers to (Y/n), who simply nods and smiles.
"Bill, you have a little brother named George, but we call him Georgie. He's 10. Richie, you have a guitar stand in your room and even though you don't tell anyone this, you're a really good player. Beverly, you once got so high with Richie that he was able to convince you that gummy bears were mini bears in candy covering. You cried for 3 hours. I know you guys. Face it, I wouldn't know any of this if I was a total stranger." The (h/c) girl stated confidently."She was spot on." Ben admits, looking to the other Losers.
"We're taking Eddie home because he broke his arm. Everyone's going to Bill's house. Come with us?" Mike asked, offering a smile. (Y/n) smiled back.
"Only if the other Losers don't mind."
"I-I d-don't. I really am c-c-curious as t-to wh-whats going on." Bill says.
"Guys, what if she's working with you-know-who?"
Eddie asked the rest of their group in a whisper.
"She was crying in my arms a minute ago Eddie. Do you really think this girl, who's not even taller than you are, could be associated with It? She seems confused and scared." Stan argues, pulling (Y/n) towards him defensively.
"Whatever. When It gets us because of her, I don't want to here anyone screaming, 'Oh Eddie you were right! She's with the clown!' Got it?" He huffed.
(Y/n) tilted her head in confusion, "A clown? We don't have one of those in my universe."
"Well, welcome to the Losers Club." The girl with dark hair says.
"I don't have one of you in my universe either." The (H/c) girl says.
"T-tell us m-m-more about i-it." Bill irks.
|Sorry the chapter is a day late, but it's here! I wanted it to be more like the IT that I love so much but I didn't want to follow the same plot as every other IT story I've read. Thanks and have a great weekend!
