Gambling and shooting. The only two things that Jesper seemed to be good at. Or at least, the only things that made him valuable.
So it was a good thing that distracting Cornelius Smeet required so much of one of those.
After the dealer changed, you came to the table dressed similarly to Nina. You sat down on Jesper's lap.
"What the hell are you doing here?" he whisper in Zemeni.
You leaned into his ear and in the huskiest voice possible whispered back, "Damage control."

"Okay, where the hell did you learn to do that, because I want lessons." Jesper asked after it was over and you were back at the Black Veil.
"Okay, sit down." you instructed. He did.
"Step one, lean on one leg. Step two, tilt your head down. Step three, look up through your eyelashes. Step four, pout your lips. Step five, hook 'em." you explained.
"And how do you do that?" Jesper asked.
"Like this."
And you leaned down, and kissed him.
You pulled away and left the crypt, swinging your hips slightly.
