But "Businesswoman of the Century" Meredith Elias was none of those things, and still somehow managed to take one of the top spots on the Do Not Cross list.
Her reputation typically proceeded her: cold, hard, calculating, and reserved— becoming CEO of multi-billion dollar conglomerate Elias Incorporated at the ripe old age of nineteen will do that to you. The Princess of Gotham ruled over her land from her downtown castle filled with conference calls and excessive board meetings, late nights and making grown men cry; and nothing happened in Meredith's kingdom without her knowing.
... Which posed a problem for resident Crown-Prince-by-day-Caped-Crusader-by-night Bruce Wayne, who had more than a little problem with any kind of authority— especially the kind coming from ex-childhood best friend Marrie, with her constant threat of lawsuits and permanently condescending voice.
Naturally, Bruce had a solution: keep her away from the Bat at whatever costs necessary. And that worked for a good twenty years, give or take, until a certain Star City vigilante decided to— for lack of a better word— royally fuck it all up.
