Reader's POV

Here we stood, face to face, his arms crossed like normal, but my calm arua soon went into panic as I heard titans try climbing up the tree.

"Spill what you know about us." His words were loud and venomous. I tilted my head confused on what he meant, " You told Sasha you knew Bertholdt's secret, how much do you know?" He grumbled, grabbing my wrist and pinning me to the tree.

My face grew red and I looked away from the blonde's gaze because if I knew any better I'd probably end up liking this dope even more than I already do.

"I don't know what you're talking about with 'how much do I know', but the secret that I was talking about was him liking Annie." I barked back pushing him off of me. "Now if there's no more stupid questions, please take me back to the Headquarters, so I can at least take a shower. I was pushed against a damn tree, and so now I'm filthy and I need to wash my now dirty shirt thanks to you." I growled, and glared up into his hazel eyes.

"No can do princess." He said, grabbing me by the throat, and holding me over the hungry titans. Panic spread throughout my face. "Don't be scared now. Now tell me the truth." He demanded tossing me back onto the thick branch. I breathed in air, and rubbed my neck.

"I don't know anything. Why don't you believe me." I pleaded, and looked up at him with teary eyes.

"I don't want to believe you because if I do I'll fall for those beautiful e/c eye's even more than I already do. I cannot take you with me either, so not only will you be hurt, you will also be all alone. I can't hurt you like that." He stated, sitting by me. I sat in his lap facing him. I made him look at me. " Y/n, you'll get hurt loving me." He said brushing my hair out of my face.

"Some people are worth the pain, but we have to work on your communication skills. You can't just go off and feed innocent people to titans." I said while smiling softly at him, " now let's talk about us. Either we're together, and you take me with you wherever you're talking about or we aren't together and you watch me fall in love with someone." I smirked, while running my hands up his chest. I kissed his cheek, and looked at him.

He grabbed my face, and pulled me into a passionate, gentle, loving kiss. Once we pulled away, I looked at him with a bright smile.

"I'm not losing an angel to these demons. We'll be warriors together." He then proceeded to tell me about him, Annie, and Bertholdt. I rested my head on his shoulder, and looked up at him with a dreamy gaze. He pet my hair, and my eyes soon got heavy. "Sleep well princess, I'll get you back soon." Is all I heard before falling into a peaceful slumber.

As I woke up in my bed at HQ I let out a sad sigh, "Fucking Braun." I hissed, and got out of bed to start of the new day.
