Vengeful W.L.F [Ellie x Reader]

[14]: Truth

As thunder roared and lightening struck, Ellie, Tommy, Dina, Jesse, Alice, Alex, and Christen all grouped together inside the theatre.

While Ellie and Tommy were keeping to themselves, Dina and Jessie were talking to Christen and Alex. 

"Ellie was saying that your WLF friend killed Joel...Is that true?"

Looking up at Jesse, Alex scoffs and shakes her head.

"She doesn't know the half of it. Y/n would never kill anyone unless her life was in danger. She might be a hard-ass sometimes but she's not a monster."

Shaking her head Alex looks to Ellie "If only she'd listen." Glancing between Alex and Ellie, Jesse shares a knowing glance with Dina.

"Ya know...there may be a way to make her listen."

"And how's that?"

Raising a brow Jesse stands "You just have to swear you're tellin' the truth. You sure do look like the trustworthy type if ya ask me. Plus, you wouldn't say anything that would put that little girl of yours at risk, even if we seem 'friendly'."

Watching as Jessie makes his way towards Ellie, Alex turns to Christen.

"Mommy will be right back sweetheart okay?"

"Okay mommy."

Pressing a kiss to Christens head Alex stands from the theatre's seat and makes her way towards Ellie and Jessie. When Alex reaches the two of them, Ellie glares towards her.

"Just listen to the girl alright?"

Rolling her eyes Ellie unfolds her arms and sighs "Fine. But we're going somewhere private." Grabbing ahold of Alex's arm Ellie drags her upstairs to the projector room. When they enter the room Ellie shuts the door behind them and faces away from Alex and towards the rooms window.

"You want me to listen so much, so start fucking talking."

While Ellie watches the pouring rain fall to the ground, Alex starts explaining what happened in Jackson.

"Y/n, Abby, Owen, and a few other WLF members were sent on a scavenging mission outside of Seattle. Though the main point of the mission was to bring back supplies, Abby and the others excluding Y/n had different plans."

Taking a deep breath Alex moves to take a seat on a nearby chair and turns it so she's facing Ellies back.

"Y/n had no clue where they were going or what they were planning to do. She was there for one mission and one mission only; bring back supplies."

Moving slightly Ellie glances to Alex, her breathing slow and calm as she listens tenderly to what Alex is saying.

"When Abby went out on her own, Y/n went after her, concerned for her safety. Thats when she met Tommy and Joel. After running from infected, Y/n and Abby took Tommy and Joel to a nearby house their group was using for shelter."

Nodding Ellie turns to Alex completely and motions for her to continue.

"At the house, Y/n tried everything she could to make Tommy and Joel feel welcome and at home. She offered them warm clothing and food but they were only hoping to be there till the storm passed so they declined her offers, and when Abby and the others lured Tommy and Joel downstairs and captured them, Y/n did everything she could to try and save them."
