Y/n was busy in the back of their bakery when all of a sudden they heard the bell on the door ring out "be up in a minute!" they called out as they finished up their task in the backroom. As soon as they made it to the counter they spotted their favorite Westview resident "Wanda! Color looks good on you!" They exclaimed and Wanda gave a soft laugh, it was then that Y/n spotted the belly Wanda was sporting "oh Wanda! You're expecting? How far along are you?" Y/n couldn't help but feel disheartened at the fact, of course, they were happy for their dear friend but pregnancy meant the relationship with their partner was serious. Not that marriage wasn't serious as well.
Wanda just smiled and rubbed her belly fondly "apparently I'm four months along, it was so sudden y'know? But I guess sometimes that's life, and soon I'll have a beautiful little baby running around " Y/n smiled at Wanda, because if she was happy then they were happy.
"Well if you ever need a babysitter you know I'm always happy to help'' Wanda's eyes lit up with excitement
"Really? I was hoping I'd be able to get someone other than Agnes to help out, she's a handful herself" The two laughed before two men walked in
"oh, I hate those damn fags" Wanda looked up in surprise and Y/n nodded their head to the two men who walked in.
"Pardon?" Wanda questioned surprise evident in her voice in such a way that it had Y/n feeling like they said something wrong
" a fag*, you know- the cigarettes always leave a bad smell in the place and it's got the customers complaining about it" Y/n brought attention to the cigarettes in the men's mouths. (fag, a cigarette)
"Oh! right... Anyway, regarding you coming over, can you do two days from now? Just with all the sudden changes, I've had no time to get prepared for the baby and I'm really behind." Wanda confessed
"Of course! Anytime that works for you works for me Wanda, especially since I haven't got a man to look after 24/7, who knows how free I'd be with one lurking around." The two exchanged some pleasantries before Wanda had to get going, she left saying something about a crib and some decorations, and Y/n was left alone in their bakery for the second time.

Hours later after Y/n had gotten home, they got a call from a breathless Wanda saying something about labor and miscalculations and Y/n was on their way faster than you could say lickety-split.
When Y/n arrived Wanda was on the ground with Geraldine next to her and the two looked up upon Y/n's entry "I thought you said you were four months along" Wanda gave an awkward smile as she tried to keep her breathing steady
"oh you know how things are, this pregnancy has got my mind all jumbled up" Y/n nodded their head and decided that was a topic for another time
"Where's Vision?" Y/n enquired
"he... went to get... the doctor," Wanda said in between breaths and Y/n decided they could save questions for later. They rushed down to Wanda's side and grabbed her hand
"squeeze as hard as you need Wanda, I'll be okay" Wanda took their suggestion with no hesitance and began gripping onto Y/n's hand.
"It's time to start pushing" Geraldine forewarned and Wanda began shouting out. With how hard Wanda was squeezing Y/n's hand they expected to be in pain but they hardly felt a thing. It brought up a mysteriously familiar feeling in Y/n's mind, but all was forgotten as Geraldine emerged with a beautiful baby boy in her arms.
"Oh Wanda, he's beautiful" Y/n softly exclaimed and Wanda gave them a soft smile. Just then Vision burst through the door with the doctor and everyone left to the kitchen to give Vision and Wanda some space. They ran out seconds later when they heard Wanda shouting again to find a second baby in Vision's arms
"oh, Twins!! I just love twins, those two boys sure are going to be a handful" Y/n's mouth quirked up in a smile and Wanda mirrored their actions. As Vision showed the doctor out Y/n and Geraldine gathered around the cribs with Wanda
"Thank you, both of you, I don't think I could've done it without your help." Wanda grinned
"It was no trouble at all " Y/n exclaimed and Geraldine nodded.
The three of them looked down at the baby before Wanda looked up with an almost dejected smile and confessed "I'm a twin" Y/n's eyebrows shot up in surprise as Wanda continued "I had a brother, his name was Pietro" Y/n winced with a headache after that statement as memories came rushing back. Pietro? Where had they heard that name before, it was important to them. Why? Who was he? How did Y/n know him? Y/n tried to drown out their thoughts as they listened to Wanda sing but they just couldn't stop thinking. He was... someone Y/n helped... but how? All Y/n's ever done was own a bakery... right? Except, they don't remember seeing Pietro in a bakery, they remember him...in a hospital bed. Y/n's migraine ended as all of their memories came rushing back. They were a doctor, well sort of- They have healing powers, that must be why it didn't hurt when Wanda was squeezing their hand. Pietro was Y/n's patient, given to them by Nick Fury who asked if there was anything they could do to heal him. Except...wasn't he-
" He was killed by Ultron, wasn't he?" Geraldine's soft questioning voice interrupted Y/n's thoughts. Y/n looked to Wanda for a reaction
"What did you say?" Wanda questioned and Geraldine tried to backtrack but Y/n could tell that Wanda had heard her.
"I think you should leave"
" oh Wanda don't be like that" Y/n noticed Wanda's gaze shift down to the necklace Geraldine was wearing
"What is that?" Wanda scrutinized "who are you?" Y/n could feel the tension rising in the air so they took a seat on the couch, observing the battle between a speechless Geraldine and a suspicious Wanda. They knew to keep their mouth shut so as to not entice the same reaction as Geraldine had.
"Wanda I'm just your neighbor" Geraldine tried to excuse herself
"Then how did you know about Ultron?" Wanda accused and Y/n felt a shiver go down their spine as Wanda's magic began to glow "you're not my neighbor, and you're definitely not my friend. You're a stranger and an outsider and right now you are trespassing here. And I want you to leave" With her final statement Wanda blew Geraldine through the wall and far away is what Y/n assumed. Wanda looked down at Y/n on the couch and gave them a questioning glance. Desperate to not have the same thing happen to them Y/n kept up the act
" I sure hate it when that happens!! You really gotta keep an eye on those nosy neighbors. Say isn't your husband on the neighborhood watch?" Y/n asked and Wanda's lips quirked into a half-amused -half relieved smile
"yes Y/n, he is now I need you to forget that that just happened alright?" Y/n stood up with a smile as convincing as they could muster and gave Wanda a thumbs up
"You got it, boss! See you soon, call me when you need me!!" and with that Y/n left, breathing a sigh of relief that they didn't have the same fate as Geraldine. What is happening? Where are they? Why is Wanda doing this? Thoughts swirled in Y/n's mind as they began the walk 'home', though they found themselves getting lost multiple times before they finally made it back. Their memory of this town was fuzzy, everything was fuzzy. They needed to lie down.
Things just got a little crazier as the reader unlocked their memories!! So they have superpowers and they've met Pietro... I wonder where this will go. Stay tuned to find out!!
