After finishing my potatoes and gravy, Steve sped off to the hospital where he basically carried me in and put me in a wheelchair,
"She is in active labor." He said to a nurse who nodded and ran me back to the delivery room with Steve close in tow,
"Steve, call Nat!" I yelled as my pains intensified,
"Why?" He replied in confusion, I gasped as I felt like a peed myself,
"Steven, my go bag. Call Nat and tell her it's code Brooklyn Bridge." I yelped out in pain as the nurse brought me into a suit and helped me into a bed, I tried to breath as reality set in around me,
"I have you Emily, I'm not leaving." He said holding my hand as he called Nat who somehow was conveniently on her way to the hospital,
"You all knew I was in labor." I said softly before wincing again,
"You sort of were wincing a little last night, I watched you up until 6 that's when I went to bed." Steve stated softly as he kissed my forehead and held me close, I started to cry again, the first time since the snap.
"Sorry it's just all so real now." I stated as before I yelped again,
"Do you want the drugs?" Steve asked, I looked at him and shook my head as I cried,
"I want my baby out now!" I yelled, Nat ran in with a doctor right behind her and she came to the other side of my bed and held my other hand. The doctor put me in the stirrups,
"You're ten centimeters and I can see the head." The doctor said, I looked around at everyone and grabbed Nat's hand tighter,
"Please, let me be push." I cried out, the doctor nodded and I began pushing.

I spent a good 4 hours pushing and everything and that's when I heard my little girl cry. I looked at Steve,
"Go, cut the cord." I said softly, I watched as Steve looked adoringly at his niece,
"She's beautiful." He said standing beside me and watching as the nurses cleaned her up. They brought Brooke to me,
"Hey babygirl." I whispered as I ran my fingers over her cheeks,
"She's a little Em." Nat said as she kissed the top of my head I giggled as I looked at the little miracle in my arms,
"Brooklyn Maria Rodgers Barnes." I whispered as I began feeding her I watched her little face as she opened her eyes a little and I caught sight of her ocean blue eyes, she has Bucky's eyes.

I was sent home a couple days later with Brooklyn. I had stood in my room and watched Brooklyn sleeping, I'd have nothing left if I lost her.
"Hey." I heard followed by a light knock, I turned and found Steve standing in the doorway,
"Hey." I whispered as I turned the monitor on and walked out with my phone,
"Is she sleeping okay?" He asked, I sighed and nodded, she's only a few days old but she's already Bucky's mini me.
"She's her father through and through." I said shrugging as I finally realized what has been happening, "and Bucky is gone, I just had our first child and Bucky isn't here." I whispered, Steve took me into his chest and held me tight as I sobbed,
"Emily, it's okay. Let it out." He whispered gently, I tried to catch my breath but it was like I was suffocating, I heard footsteps and then I looked up to see Nat,
"Can someone stay with me tonight, I haven't been alone in months and I need to have someone tonight." I said softly, Steve nodded and put his hand in my back and ushered me into my room, I looked at Brooklyn who was still sleeping peacefully under a picture of Bucky and I from when we lived under different identities.
"Em, come lay down." Steve said gently, I nodded and walked over, I slid under my blankets and curled into Steve's side, he put a protective arm around me,
"Thank you." I closed my eyes and sighed, finally falling asleep,
"You're safe Emily. Relax." He responded before I swiftly fell asleep.

"Who is she?" I heard yelling, I looked around and spotted Bucky and then a small brunette girl around 4. I watched as she looked at me along with Bucky,
"Brooklyn." I said smiling,
"Mommy, Daddy doesn't remember me." She looked at me with puppy dog eyes, I sighed and leaned down,
"Brooke, Daddy was away in a long mission, remember?" I asked gently before Brooke nodded and ran to Bucky and hugged him,
"She can't be ours." Bucky said sternly, "I was gone for five years, she's four." I bit my lip and watched as Brooke walked over to me with tears in her eyes,
"Don't do this, she's yours I promise." I said before Bucky looked at me with disdain in his eyes,
"The math- wait we did it the day I disappeared..." Bucky looked at me and then Brooklyn,
"She's you in a little girl body." I said with smile as put my hands on her shoulders,
"She's my little girl?" Bucky asked as he began smiling,
"She's our little girl." I spoke as a tear rolled down my cheek.

I sat up to the sound of wailing, I laughed to myself, of course only Brooklyn could wake me from those dreams. I stood up and walked over to pick up my little girl,
"Hey, you're hungry huh?" I asked before I lifted her up and put her on her changing table. I changed her diaper and lifted her, that's when she gave me this little smile, I turned and I had a teary smile as I saw that she was grinning at that picture of Bucky and I, "that's daddy huh? See daddy?" I asked as I held her and sat in a rocking chair while I fed her, she smiled up at me for a few second before she started to drift off into a milk coma.
