•Alex's POV•
The letters fell through the slot and into the basked I placed there to collect it. I searched through the mail, as usual, throwing away any junk. Just as I finished, I saw one addressed to.. me and Emery? That's weird. We never get mail.
Anyways, I put the important mail in the kitchen and put away the basket. I walked upstairs to mine and Emery's shared room. "Em! Guess what?"
She looked up at me. "What?"
"We got a letter!"
"A letter."
"Yep."
"Lemme see."
I showed her the letter. "It's got shiny green ink on it, fancy."
"Yeah, neat." She read it out loud. "To Mr. Alexander Hamilton and Ms. Emery Jaro, Number 6 Privet Drive, The room to the left of the staircase. Freaky."
I looked at her, then back at the letter. "Well? Open it!" "Okay, Okay! I'm opening it, geez!" She whisper-shouted at me as she pulled the letter out of the envelope.
