Draco was hunched over his bathroom sink, the water droplets dripped down his back and were absorbed by the towel wrapped around his waist

"No...it can't be her" Draco whispered in denial, shaking his head, the small flower ring that hung around his neck swung from side to side

"Mother...I don't want to change teachers"

"Come on Draco, Monsieur Pedersen is no longer giving you the training you need"

Six year old Draco huffed with annoyance as his mother led him into another studio

"Stay silent Draco, let me do the talking" his mother ordered

They entered one of the rooms and saw Madam Marie-Rose with a little girl around Draco's age, they both looked to Draco and his mother

"Darling go into the other room" Madam Marie-Rose ordered the girl

"But—" she began to protest

"Now"

The other girl glanced towards Draco and his mother before leaving the room

"Mrs. Malfoy, to what I owe the pleasure?"

"So it's true, you are training someone" his mother said "very well, I will pay you triple of what her family is paying for you to stop training her and train Draco"

Madam Marie-Rose glanced to Draco

"I'm sorry, she's a special case and I meant it when I said I wasn't training anyone"

His mother huffed and raised her chin

"My son is more talented than that pureblood girl, he will be a better asset for your image if you train him"

"Maybe we shall have this conversation alone...without Draco in the room?"

Draco shuffled in his spot, he felt uncomfortable being watched and ignored

"Go wait outside Draco" his mother ordered

Draco bowed and left the room, he heard the music playing in the room beside the one where his mother was in, he snuck in and saw the girl dancing

Draco sat by the wall, he watched mesmerized, he realized too late that the girl had stopped dancing

"Can I help you?" She asked timidly

Draco quickly got up and dusted off his clothes, his mother would be mad if he got them dirty, he coughed and felt his face heat up

"Sorry...I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable" Draco apologized

"You didn't" she smiled

"What's your name?" Draco asked

"I'm not telling a stranger" she said, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow at him

Draco smiled and laughed softly, normally the other children were intimidated by him, Draco didn't have many friends if he was being completely honest, he took off his silver ring and handed it to her

"We're friends now, what's your name?"

Before the girl answered, she took off her flower ring and handed it to him

"It's only fair" she whispered, he smiled brightly and looked at the flower ring, it felt light on his palm, at that moment he swore that he would never let it go, Draco saw her extended his hand and he took it excitedly
