If Jones was in the film Norman Price and the mystery in the sky

First scene

Dad was in Steele's office for some reason and my mum was somewhere in the station and soon enough I heard that Norman had accidentally caused a fire and I suppose mum and dad left with someone else I didn't mind

I was sat up on the balcony and I knew for some reason today was just going to be as hectic as it had been for the past month

Joe had been inventing something, what I don't know as I don't want to snoop but I'm pretty sure if I ask dad when he comes back he'll know

It's cold out here so I decided to go in and I see Steele, Arnold and Elvis and I wave to them as I'm passed coke by Arnold

"Thanks Arnold, others are out on an emergency I presume?" I ask

"Well there coming back now Jones" Steele said

"Yay" I cheer as I drink my drink "I need to ask dad a few things"

"Suppose to do it now then later eh Jones" Arnold said getting my hint I left accidentally

"True Arnold true" I laugh

"Brain boxers" Steele teased good naturally and he heard jupiter pull up and he said "oi Jones go jump on your dad I dare you"

"Dare accepted sir let me go do it now" I laugh with a tease and I run to the pole and slide down

Jupiter parks and I can see Ellie so I place my fingers on my lips and she replies with an ok symbol and once dad has put his helmet down and is now talking to mum (I'm glad my shoes are on) i see him and I run to him and I jump up

I jump up and wrap my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist and he slips his arms under my knees to support me if I need it

"Hello daddy, mummy" I say as they talk

Both Sam and penny look up at me once Sam puts me down and I say "you smell like smoke dad"

"Well so do you know Jones" Sam laughed as I ran off with his helmet

"Grandad told me to annoy you so" I say

"And grandad is right she did tell you to, Sam takes in stride Jones as you" he started

"A mini Sam" I finished with my dads eye roll

"To the eye roll your Sam" Ellie laughed

"Blah blah" I say as I ask my dad to pick me up once his fire uniform is off and his station uniform is left on and he sees his helmet is starting to fall off my head so he puts it down

He then carried me to his office where he asked "why I was wearing shoes"

I told him "I was sitting on the balcony and then jumped on him"

"Dad?" I start in my curious tone

"Yes Jones?" Sam asked

"What's Joe inventing?" I ask

"Sparkmaster and 98 battery or 97 can't remember" Sam replied

"Hm, Norman set fire to it?" I ask

"No" Sam replied with a laugh as he picked me up and sat me on his lap "Joe did Norman helped accidentally"

"I can't sit to be a firefighter, I get to be like you dad" I say bravely

"That you do Jones, that you do" Sam said with a smile
