9th scene

I was still at the key and I was standing next to Charlie as he had wrapped an arm around me and we were all at by the rails

Malcolm: everyone get in doors you'll be much safer there

Just then the flying man suit and come and crashed straight into the cafe knocking the freshly sale of my aunties and uncles fish, they would be out of service for a while

I felt bad for them

Malcolm: okay everyone much safer out here

He nervously laughed and Charlie wrapped an arm around me tighter

Scoop told the news that the emergency services were now in trouble and short stretched and I just tuned her out

Norman and James soon arrived back again and I wondered briefly where they had gone again

Norman: never fear Norman-Man is here

James: so is atomic boy

Malcolm told them to stay back with them and to leave it to fireman Sam's and the crew and they did as they were told and I scrunched my nose at the smell radiating from the suit and I inched away from it and Charlie noticed so he moved with me

Venus arrived and I smiled and then I saw dad and mum walk out of it and they to surveyed them damage that had happen and they were glad no one had been hurt

The blue suit kept flying and crashing and I didn't know why it was malfunctioning but I hazard a guess an error had been made of maybe an engine had been disconnected or power was low

Joe arrived as he ran towards my parents and told them that there was a problem with the Sparksmaster batteries

Mum asked him did he mean the one he had built that had been stolen, he told them both no and that it was all of them and that when they ran out they would explode and explode quite a lot

Sam: of course they will

I couldn't see my dads face but I could tell his infamous eye roll had just happen right there and then

The blue suit announced loudly that it felt sick and I felt sick to now

Emptophobia am I right? - I thought illy

Charlie lifted me up so I could be sick in the key and not on myself, him of anyone else for that matter

Penny: but what can we do we can't get near that thing

Charlie put me down and kept his tight hold around me

Norman: did you hear that?

James: yes that your suit is powered by a battery that might explode

Not might James will explode and that's not his suit for one

Norman: no not that bit, Pontypandy needs me

No Norman your gonna put yourself in danger - I thought softly

James seem to have read my thoughts as he muttered "you do it all the time Jones"

"True" I laughed

Norman: Norman-Man to the rescue

Then both suits powered by different people ended up flying after each other in a hope to stop the blue one from falling out of control even more and before both batteries will explode

After a bit the suits came heading straight for us all and Charlie let go of me in panic and he was pulled back by Bronwyn and Dilys pulled me back by the back of my jacket

Mike ducked down after announcing he couldn't look and the normal suit grabbed the blue one and slowly slowed there descent before placing them both down on the ground

We all cheered

James: well done Norman-Man

I was to pleased with Norman

The one in the blue suit announced she couldn't get out and Norman seemed to be struggling holding the malfunctioning suit down any longer and James made his way across to both suits as Sam had taken a gingerly step forward

James announced he knew how to open the suits and he muttered to himself what to do as he did so and soon both suits opened showing proffer Polonium and Norman

James placed the batteries down and Norman told James he wasn't a sidekick no longer and that they were a team after saving him

I watched them both and then the batteries started to shake and then Joe annocef the batteries were about to explode and we were ushered back by Malcolm and Rose

Sam announced to himself that they needed to be out of Pontypandy and Tom arrived and if reading Sam's thoughts he lowered the double harness down only to realise Sam wasn't there no more

We then all grew automatically worried for Sam cause Sam was no where to be seen and neither were the batteries and no explosion sound had been heard

So he had vanished into thin air

No no no - I thought as my heart started to hammer in my chest

Hold on that's Juno's sound and we all ran to the rails and I stood next to James and Charlie as we watched Sam pushed juno to Max as he headed out to sea

I grew worried and my foot started to tap

Just then a green ball of light, gas and a rather loud bang had erupted far out in sea but loud enough to hear from the key and big enough to see

Everyone was upset as they thought Sam had gone along with the explosion

I couldn't see mums face or hear her but I bet she was crying

Joe had his hand to his heart and he sadly muttered fireman Sam

Charlie had both of his hands to his head in fear and shock as he shouted his brothers name so loud I could've been deafened

Bronwyn and Dilys both covered there mouths

The rest of the kids were upset and couldn't take there eyes off from the sea

And I, well I - I thought as I bit my lip

I was trying not to break and I knew dad had gone so I horsley whispered "Daddy"

I hadn't even made him proud yet

Hold on I can hear something familiar and then I heard penny announced Fireman Sam in a relived way and she also sounded like she had silenty been crying

We were all glad and Sam even out to sea had a relived smile on his face and scoop told the news that Sam had saved the day yet again

Charlie, Bronwyn and the twins ran up to Sam as he appeared out
