A/N : Okay, so some of you guys might want to know about the order of the Royal/noble/Chilvaric ranks. Sooo.... I've decided to write the order, just so you know :)
P.S.: source: wikipedia with some edits.
The ranks from the high-low.
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
1. Emperor and Empress
2. Queen's dowager (queen's mother)
3. Archduke and Archduchesse
4. Duke and Duchess and
Prince and Princess.
5. Marquis and Marquise
Margrave and Margravis
6. Count (or earl) and countess.
7. Viscount and viscountess
8. Baron and baroness
9. Baronet and Baronetess
10. Knight and dame
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
As you know number 4 and 5 has two pairs of ranks it's because both pairs have the same level.
And in (almost) every numbers they have one or two pair of ranks.
Ex.: Duke and Duchess
the right one is usually for female and the left one is usually for male.
And just to make it clear
Lass: a young woman who isn't married yet
Lad: a young man who isn't married yet
Se : the
Thou : you
Thy : your
Tis : this is
Twas : it was
Maman : mom (French)
Oui : yes (French)
Non : no (French)
Hope that helps xx
Sorry, if there are some mistakes..
