Yoongi feels the tears blurring his vision as he drives toward Sena's apartment. He's driving too fast, and he has to continue to wipe the tears away as they are so quickly replaced. He would never have wanted her to find out from someone else. He wanted to be the one to ask her to produce. It was his idea first. He wanted her to work on it because she is talented and she would do a great job, and he wanted to keep working with her, because he wanted to be around her, every moment, of every day and night since he met her, since he let her break through his shell. He wants to hold her in his arms and feel her soft kisses on his skin. He wants to protect her and care for her, and he wants to feel loved and protected. He wants to be part of her life, because she is already too important for him to give up.  But, this is totally new to him. He's never felt this way about a woman, he'd never felt the connection before, and he just doesn't know how to have both.

He misses his turn to her neighborhood and curses as he spins the wheel to make a U-turn in the street, making the cars behind him swerve. He's got to see her. He has to make her understand. She needs to hear it from him. She should have heard it from him. He makes the turn onto her street nearly taking out a parked car. He stops quickly, trying to regain his composure. He's been reckless, he's tried to have it all without risking anything and he's risked everything. He takes a deep breath, trying to find the strength to face this, with a clear head. He looks up to see her building as he pulls in front of it. What if she won't let him in? What if she's there, drinking herself stupid like when he found her that morning? She sure has a better reason to do it now. What if she isn't even there? What if she went straight to some bar, or- to Beomseok?! The realization that she could easily have gone straight to his house, reeling from the anger she must be feeling at him, is too painful to face. He bangs his head on his steering wheel. He looks up at her apartment windows, the only ones without curtains, and the apartment looks dark.

He's not going to give her the chance to ignore him. He's got to see her. So, he sits, and waits, and stares at the door. He stares hard, wondering how long he will have to wait until someone comes out of it, until he can rush inside and get to her door. She may not let him in if he rings her doorbell, but he knows he can get to her, if he can get through this first door.  He sits, chin resting on the steering wheel, staring up at the door, and wiping the tears that come, one after the other. A text vibrates his pocket and he struggles to get out his phone to see it, hoping it's from her, maybe she has seen him from her window and is going to ask him to come up. But it's from Hoseok.

Hobi: 'Hyung, none of the guys talked to Moon. I can't reach Taehyung, but he doesn't even know about her producing yet. I'm sorry. We will keep asking around'

He sighs heavily, and looks back up at the closed door. It needs to be now. He needs to fix this now. He turns to his backseat and eyes the empty box left over from a monitor for the studio he bought last week. He grabs the box, and pulls his hat low, pulling up his mask and he walks to the front door. He looks over the names on the doorbells and he pushes one of the other two buttons that say 'Lee' besides hers. He waits, no one responds. He presses the next buzzer, and he hears the intercom click. He looks up at the camera, holding the box up as though it's heavy and he hears a voice say hello.

"I have a package delivery for Lee," he says, gruffly. There is a pause.

"What is it?" the voice questions.

"I don't know but it's heavy," he says, to emphasize his point he shifts his weight. There is a pause and then the buzzer sounds. He opens the door quickly, forgetting the charade of the heavy box and he rushes up the four flights of stairs to her floor. He doesn't give a thought to the person wondering where their package is, he just discards the box on the landing and steps up to her apartment, putting his ear against the door to listen for any sound that may tell him she is there. He hears nothing. He reaches up and taps on the door quietly, listening hard for sounds of movement, but it's quiet.  He knocks louder, more forcefully, businesslike, and he hears something inside, something that gives him hope. He readies himself, for whatever he needs to do to get in that apartment and speak to her, and explain. He looks up and sees the peep hole, and realizes he should have kept the box. He panics, and turns around, standing still with his back to the door, so she won't be able to tell who he is.

He hears the door begin to open and he spins around to face her, looking at the confused, shocked expression as she recognizes him and frowns.  He moves quickly toward her door just as she tries to close it, forcing his foot in between the door and the frame as he pushes at it with all his weight. He forces it open and she steps back into the apartment, letting the door release as he bounds through it. She backs up, standing in her silky robe, her eyes pink and puffy from crying, but looking achingly beautiful.

"I don't want to see you Yoongi." She looks down. He reaches for her hands, letting the door close behind him. She pulls her body back, trying to release herself but he grips her hands tightly.

"Sena you have to let me explain," he begins, but she turns her head away, refusing to look at him. "I'm so sorry, I didn't want you to hear about this from anyone but me," he's ready to be honest. She looks up at him, her eyes burning in frustration and anger, trying to mask the hurt but he sees it clearly and it breaks his heart. She narrows her gaze, letting the anger take over.

"Hear what? That everyone wants me to produce your comeback album but you?" She glares at him with ice cold expression and he shakes his head, looking like he might cry again. She holds firm, keeping her distance as he tries to get closer.

"How did you know? Who told you?" he asks, and it makes her even more infuriated to think he just wants to know who sold him out.

"Bang PD asked me why I wasn't in the studio with you, why I was still working with draGUN." Yoongi's eyes get wide as he realizes how much worse it would sound coming from him.  "He told me that you specifically asked to be the one to approach me about the comeback, and now I know why- because you weren't ever going to ask me!" She pulls her body away and steps wide of him as he tries to reach for her again. He shakes his head, feeling the panic of being caught in this lie. "Were you just going to wait a while and then tell him I said 'no'? What's one more lie?" she says throwing her hands up in frustration.

"Sena it isn't like that, I asked for you. I told him I wanted you to produce, but that was before-" As he steps closer, she backs up.

"Before what?" she interrupts him, "before you changed your mind? What did I do? What made you decide that I wasn't good enough for this? Tell me. I can take it. I'm a big girl, if you don't like what I do, just tell me because plenty of other artists do!" He can see the tears flooding her eyes and he wishes he could comfort her. It hurts too much knowing that he is the cause.

"Sena, I wanted to be with you, I didn't want to lose you, and, I thought I had to choose, one or the other," he says feebly. He looks down, feeling the shame.

"So, you decided to make this choice without me, is that it?" She might be even angrier at hearing this admission. "You decided you just wanted the sex more than the work, sure, makes sense. You can always get another producer to work with you, but find another gullible, stupid girl who really wants you, who will just give over her soul to you, well that's hard to come by. I get it." she says sarcastically. He can't hear these words anymore. He rushes to her, dropping down to his knees in front of her body and wrapping his arms around her middle tightly. He looks up, his eyes sting from the hot tears and he blinks through them to see her.

"No, Sena please, it isn't like that, I swear. I need you. I want you. I don't want to lose you!" he almost shouts the words out in a raspy declaration, fighting each tear as it falls. She looks down at him, cold, and unfeeling.

"You have to choose to have a girlfriend or a producer, I'll make it easier on you. I'm choosing for you. I'm going to produce the BTS comeback, we are going to work together, professionally, and then, when we are done, I never want to see you again." She pushes his body away from her, and he falls down her bare legs, trying to grip her, any part of her, as he cries. She looks down at him, fighting back her own tears, and she tries to be firm. "Go home Yoongi. I will see you in the studio, and we will not speak about this in front of any of them, no one," she warns him as she turns to her front door, opening it. She stands beside it, looking down as she waits for him to get up. He turns his head slowly, looking back at her, still on his knees, wiping the tears from his eyes.

"Sena please-" he whispers, his voice hoarse from crying.

"Yoongi, don't make this any harder on me, you owe me that much," she tells him in a softer voice, and he knows it's true. He pulls his body up to stand, and slowly, agonizingly slowly, walks to her, to the door, and he hangs his head as he walks through it, turning to see it close, leaving him alone in the darkness of the hallway.
