She beat herself because she loved him,
She cried because she wanted him,
She changed herself because she needed him,
But he looked right through her,
At another girl,
who wasn't half of what he was losing.
Right then and there,
She knew it.
She knew she was worth every star in the galaxy,
She knew that this pain was only temporary,
She knew that one day,
She'll find someone who'll give her every star,
Even the meteors of the galaxy.
But until then,
She'll learn to love herself,
Through all the thick skin.
