What's required?
Per your original submission, you will follow four judges.
Things to remember:
- These four judges are not your actual round 1 judges. So that means five different people reading your story at once. That means more reads. This is an experimental approach and should you unfollow or otherwise disrespect your judges, that means it's less likely we can have another award with these prizes.
- Judges ARE allowed to vote on your story now. That does not mean you'll automatically advance to ROUND 3. But again, we are encouraging judges to enjoy themselves and vote if they like a story.
- The two hosts ONLY judge the FINAL batch. Meaning that from Round 2 onward, it is entirely up to the judges.
- The rubrics for ROUND 2 onward is no longer public.
- Even if you don't advance to ROUND 3, there are benefits to being in ROUND 2, such as a detailed review.
- Judges can (and likely WILL) follow authors they like after the award is over.
- This follow is a PAYMENT for the ROUND 1 judging and ROUND 2 judging.
- These are NOT your direct judges for ROUND 2. The task will be mixed and shared between all judges.
