"Shit!"

I yelled while running around with my messy bed head.

I was only wearing my pyjamas and I looked like a headless chicken running from one room to the other, in an attempt to get ready for the purgatory photo shoot I had today. Vinnie invited me to the shoot after we met through social media. We instantly got along but now I was hoping that we got along in person just as much as we do online.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck," I mumble after I hit my toe on my bed frame.

I clutch my toe and awkwardly hop to my drawers to grab my clothes. I look at myself in the mirror one more time before deciding that I look decent and I make my way to the car and start up the engine. The car cranked to life and I began my short boring journey to the nerve raking photo shoot.

The car chugged to a stop in the full car park and after locking the car, I rushed to the plain glass door.

"Y/N! You're here," Vinnie exclaimed with excitement.

God his voice sounded like heaven and he looked even better in person than on the phone.

"Hi! Sorry I'm late," I replied and we both outstretched our arms as we walked closer to one another to give a warm greeting hug.

"No problem, we're just getting started," Vinnie kindly said.

He gestured towards the clothes rack that was overflowing with a selection of black and white hoodies and sweatpants.

"What colour would you like, green or purple?" Vinnie asked, giving me a smile.

"Uhhh, (your preference)," I replied with a nervous grin while I played with the hem of my shirt.

He handed me a hoodie and sweatpants and I made my way to the bathroom.

When I walked out of the bathroom and over to where everyone else was, I saw Vinnie posing for some photos. I stood back and admired his dirty blonde curls and his brown eyes. I won't lie, I was definitely attracted to him but we only just met in person, what if he doesn't like me? I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts by a sudden female voice.

"Y/N," the voice was gentle and I looked towards it. "We're ready for you, I'm Melody by the way," the voice, I now know as Melody's, said.

"Okie dokie," I sent back and made my way to the white backdrop.

Vinnie sent me a wink and a smirk as I walked passed. I nervously turned around and got prepared to pose for the camera. There were a few other people here as well and that added to my anxiousness.

"You are a natural at this," Melody complimented while she snapped more pictures. I thanked her in the form of a huge grin.

After a few more single photos, we decided to take a break. I made my way over to the table that was adorned with an abundance of food. I grabbed some food and sat on one of the couches and made conversation with a few others. Everyone seemed so welcoming. Soon Vinnie came along and plopped right down beside me and placed his arm around my shoulder, pulling me into his side.

"How's my favourite girl going with this photo shoot?" He asked while looking down at me.

I had just stuffed my mouth with a cookie and I looked up at him with a funny expression. He let out a laugh.

"I'm gonna take that as a good then," Vinnie chuckled.

"Yeah, it's been great," I replied with a small laugh after I finished my food.

"That's good then."

He pulled me in closer and placed a small kiss on my head. I smiled up at him and then placed my head on his shoulder.

"Alrighty people, let's get back to work!" Melody shouted with joy as she clapped her hands together.

She stood up from her seated position on the forest green couch that was directly in front of the purple one that Vinnie and I were sitting on. Melody grabbed her camera equipment and walked back over to main part of the set.

"Okay, so can I please get Iverson and Ares to stand right here," Melody said while tapping her foot at the centre of the white floor.

The two boys looked so professional posing together and soon it was now time for Eva and Tyra to pose.

"Gorgeous people, it is now time for our last two," excitement was evident behind Melody's eyes as she said that. "Vinnie and Y/N please come forward," She finished.

Our pose consisted of Vinnie behind me with his arms wrapped around my waist and my hands were resting on his forearms.

"Perfect!" Melody squealed and began taking photos.

I had only known Melody for a short period of time but she was already becoming one of my favourite people, she was just such a cheery old soul.

"You know, you're the most beautiful person I have ever seen," Vinnie whispered in my ear.

I blushed and a small smile formed on my face. I turned my head so that we were face to face. We both had cheesy grins, the world was now silent and it was just us.

"I can say the same thing for you," I whispered back, not breaking eye contact with him.

"I got it! The perfect shot!" Melody shrieked with excitement. "Ah, you two! I love you guys, this is my best work yet," She continued.

Vinnie and I broke out of our trance and looked at an extremely happy Melody.

"Well I think we're done here," Vinnie said with a smile.

He turned me around to pull me into a bone crushing hug and he rested his chin on the top of my head.

"Thank you guys so much for helping me today, I appreciate it more than I could put into words," Vinnie said.

We pulled out of our hug and everyone exchanged goodbyes.

"Y/N."

I turned to see Vinnie there.

"Now that we've met each other in person, I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go on a date or something?" He questioned while rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"That sounds great Vinnie."

"Awesome, I'll send you a message about it later," A huge grin played on his lips.

He placed a kiss on my cheek, we both said our goodbyes and I walked back to my car. I sat there with a goofy grin, replaying the perfect day back in my head.
