I dodged the vines coming at me, Todoroki ran at me as we circled each other, he summoned more vines, I blasted at Todoroki in response, burning the vines as Todoroki was sent back, blocking himself from falling off the edge using more vines

MidNight POV

The battle was getting more brutal as I got a few words from Cementoss "This is getting more brutal MidNight, You'll might need to contain the two so they cause less damage to themselves and the ring that they already have" I nodded "Don't worry, if things go wrong, I'll just use perfect cube to conceal them both for the time being, otherwise it shouldn't get too out of hand" "I hope you're right about this" I continued to watch the battle as Todoroki used more vines to keep Izuku at a mid-range distance, Izuku would only burn the vines as Todoroki wouldn't fall out of bounds since he used his vines for protection

Todoroki POV

I was once again blasted back but used vines to protect me "Why are you going so far?!" He yelled out in response "I want to live up to everyone's expections!, that's why—" He headbutted me in the gut cutting himself off  "I think you should stop screwing around!"

FlashBack

My face was looking at the throw up on the ground as I coughed, My adoptive father looked down on me as he said "Stand Up, If you're drowned by something like this, Forget trying to be a hero and helping others" My adoptive mother came to my side   slightly holding me as she said "Please, stop he's only  5!"

"Shut Up.." I had grit in my voice only remembering more of my childhood, As I was practically frozen "I...I..I don't wanna be like dad?!" I was crying in my Adoptive mom's arms "But you wanna be a hero, don't you?" I looked dead at Midoriya as he charged at me, that memory still playing in my head as Midoriya yelled "That's why..I WILL WIN!" He punched me in the stomach sending me back as I remembered that fateful day...

FlashBack

I walked into the Kitchen hearing my Adoptive Mom talking "Every day, The children seem to become more and more like him.." I shakily said her name "M...Mom..?" She took her hands off the phone in surprise

I looked at the sky being flung off from a Punch to my stomach from Midoriya I kept replying conversations I had with my adoptive parents "Where's Mom.." "Oh, She injured you, so I put her in a hospital" as I mumbled "I will reject..his help..I will win with the strength I acquired on my own.." as Midoriya yelled out to me "IT'S YOUR STRENGTH, ISN'T IT?!" As a video of a hero who was presumed dead nowadays was playing "But the really important thing is not that connection, but recognizing you're own flesh and blood" as those words my mom said repeated "But you want to be a hero, don't you?" As a kid I looked on in admiration and inspiration Before I knew it, I had forgotten..As magical words rang in my head "Be the Hero, Who you want to be"
